Suzukura Mana is an aspiring designer at an apparel company. Mana has worked hard as an assistant and is well within reach of her dream of making her debut as a designer, but she has a secret that she cannot tell anyone. In fact, she killed her husband, who was abusive to her on a daily basis, in order to achieve the peaceful life she has today. Then, suddenly, the husband she thought she had killed appears in front of Mana, with no memory of it, and they end up living together. And as Mana spends time with her "murdered husband," she comes into contact with a warmer side of her husband that she had never known before. But then, a shocking truth is revealed. Reviews
The mystery elements aren’t inherently bad.. With sharper writing and the right execution, it could have been brilliant.. Unfortunately, here they feel careless and wasted.. Yamashita Mizuki delivered a good performance while Hagiwara Riku often felt like a newcomer still learning the ropes, which is disappointing considering he isn’t exactly a newbie..
Major spoiler..
I don’t think she actually killed the real Mana.. It’s more about the guilt of losing the only person who truly cared for her, even though there was nothing she could have done to prevent it..
Overall, an average watch.. The drama had potential but it didn't click for me.. It's a shame because I thought I could have liked it much more given the mystery element was interesting.. By the end, it’s clear the ML has feelings for the FL.. I just wish they had given a proper conclusion to their story at least.. Sadly, the final episode and overall conclusion were quite unsatisfying..
