Through his encounter with Daichi, Okita Makoto—who had been previously full of deeply ingrained prejudices that were out of touch with modern society—gradually updates himself to align with modern values. His wife Mika, who has become a full-time employee to support her favorite idol, his daughter Moe, who has been struggling with ideas for her new work to be included in self-published magazines, and his son Kakeru, who enjoys unleashing his love for makeup, all seem to have a harmonious family relationship. Just when everything seems perfect, the past resurfaces. Sato, Okita's former subordinate, reappears as a client, bringing with him old wounds and deep- rooted distrust.
