Princess Pingyang witnesses Wei Qing’s triumphs as a general and his relationship with his wife and feels alone. Liu Che hopes Princess Pingyang and Xiahou Po will mend their relationship. Xiahou sends her a reconciliation gift, and she agrees to return to Ruyin together. On their journey, they meet Huo Qubing who is leading the troops to seal off the city after an attempted assassination on Wei Qing. Discovering that Wei Qing is wounded, Princess Pingyang rushes to his residence in a panic.
