Yu Wen Xia gets engaged to Ji Jia Xing in order to protect her adopted younger brother, Yi Huan. However, Yi Huan is in love with his sister and fights to keep her by his side. He tries to sabotage the engagement and eventually learns the real reason why Wen Xia agreed to the marriage. Yue Yang mandou bem no papel de ML, aparentemente seu segundo drama como tal. Ele, irmão adotivo da FL, a ama desde pequeno. Ela sempre o protege e se envolve em um noivado para salvá-lo do Sr.Chen. A família do noivo a usa como moeda de troca porque sua família original está falida e seus pais também. ML a protege em varias ocasiões e depois assume seu sobrenome Yi para casar-se com ela e protege-la mais ainda.
