Denied Love (Uncut Ver.) Episode 9

10 min of story packed into 53 minutes of mostly dead air

Episode 9 is where the writers discovered they didn't have enough content for 10 episodes. Their workaround was a lot of clips from previous episodes, a profoundly boring sappy wrap-up with minor characters, an overdose of drunken self pity, and loooooooooog drawn out pauses that turned into caverns of dead air over angsty staring contests. What little dialog there was - and it was very little - was decent enough. The actors did the best anyone could do with what they were given. I actually felt sorry for them. They deserved better.

I've read the book, so I know there is a lot of good source material to work from. If the producers want to end the series staying true to the source and doing justice to the story, buckle your seat belt because E10 will have to hit supersonic speed to make up for this waste of air time.
