It only works because it's a "GL". If Pat were a man, it would be a horror series hahaha
In real life, Pat would be a stalker... but in the series, she is the GLs' most beloved red flag! Pat goes to great lengths to win Prem over, even though Prem claims she's straight! Of course, we have to keep in mind that this is a TV series, not real life, because if it were real life, Pat would already be arrested for numerous crimes, hahaha... It's unbelievable how she stops at nothing when it comes to winning over the love of her life. She's capable of anything, even if what she's doing is considered stalking... The fine line between romance and crime is definitely Pat, hahaha. Everyone is calling her a "red flag," but at the same time, they're IN LOVE with her because Pat has so much charisma, has the attitude of a villain, is elegant, beautiful, confident, courageous, and isn't afraid to show what she wants and go after it. But as soon as Prem gets sad, sick, or fragile, Pat will do anything to cheer her wife up and make her happy.I need to praise Pam. What a great villain! For me, a good villain is one that makes you angry, that makes you hate her. A villain who doesn't make you feel anything is worthless. Pam made me so angry throughout the series that I suddenly found myself watching it while grinding my teeth. Pam is hateful and cunning, and the actress deserves high praise for that. Congratulations.
Ri várias vezes, e me emocionei.
Episode by episode (No spoilers)
Ep 1: I really liked how they delivered exactly what we wanted from Anueng at that moment. The actresses are putting on a great performance, they really gave themselves to the character. I'm really looking forward to the next episodes, especially to see how they interact with Chet and the others. Speaking of Chet, I believe we will be very angry with him in the next episodes.---------- Negative point (for me): I wish there weren't so many moments without background music, and that the noise would be reduced. It looks like they put a lavalier microphone on the actresses at full volume.
Ep 2: I was missing our naughty Anueng. The way she says "Ar Nueeeeng" S2S2S2S2... I screamed a lot during the episode. Ar Nueng, take care of yourself, because Anueng is dying to kiss you in the middle of the street and end all the secrets. It's so funny to see how Anueng can make Ar Nueng embarrassed with a simple kiss on the cheek or a cheeky look hahahaha.
Ep 3: I freaked out so much and screamed so much in this episode! How can these two be so shameless? The face doesn't even shake when they lie hahahahaha... Anueng is so sassy! She managed to win over Nueng when she was tired. She knows what she's good at! Conquering ladies hahaha.
EP 4: This end of the episode destroyed our sanity! How do I wait for the next episode??? Please don't do that joke: The person thinks they're not good enough to be with their Lover, so they start treating them badly or pushing them away for "their good".
EP 5: I can't believe there's only 1 episode left! The end of this episode really left anyone anxious!
Ep 6: This is the kind of series that you want to forget and watch again, because you know it will take a long time to find a similar or better series in the same genre.
two crumbs of love to soften the heart.
They are 1-minute Specials with a little piece of what happened afterwards. I loved seeing at least a little piece of this couple that won me over! I've read the books and it's always good to see more of them.Thank you MDL for registering the special! For those who want to watch this is the link:

Revolutionary: A father who arranges his daughter's marriage to a woman (the best father-in-law)
What if your father forced you to marry a woman who is madly in love with you?They've become my favorite duo #Enjoyjune
These two managed to win everyone over with their chemistry and humor, both on and off screen.
Khem made me laugh so much with her lines. She simply says whatever comes to mind without thinking twice, and most of the time, she's just thinking dirty things, hahaha.
The actresses have been friends since they were teenagers, so they get along really well on and off screen. Because of this, they have great chemistry. The dynamic between a cold heart and a puppy (speaking of the protagonists' personalities) is contagious. One is cold-hearted and the other is sassy, it's just too good!
If you like the idea of a woman convincing another to love her through seduction, this is your GL. The only complaint about the acting (that I saw) is that they don't actually kiss, just a peck on the lips, but real Drama fans don't mind that, since we often watch 56 episodes just to see a peck on screen... here there are so many hot scenes and lots of kissing (just not a big one), and it's incredible! Unmissable!
It sounds like a fanfic written by a lesbian preteen who has a thing for evil CEO women.
The series has an energy similar to the films "365 Days," "50 Shades of Grey," "After," and "My Fault"... Where a rich person becomes obsessed for no reason with a poor person who is very stupid and/or pathetic.1))) The production: It's not very good, perhaps because it's a small production company, but the songs end abruptly in the first few episodes, and the series' original music plays ALL THE TIME, we get tired of it... and the sound quality is poor (both the noises and the voice itself sometimes sound strange; they didn't adjust it in post-production or re-record it to improve it). This doesn't bother me much, but I thought it was relevant to mention here.
2))) The acting: Bo and Queen always have a blank expression, and in Bo's case, she always looks like a silly girl from the 2000s. The acting of Bo's mother and Kem is very good, we really hate them in the plot.
3))) The story: The two protagonists don't have a "romantic story." Queen is simply bossy and self-centered (she improves a bit at the end), and Bo is uninteresting and lacks her own opinion. Honestly, the relationship between Bo and her college friend is better developed than the romance between Queen and Bo, which seems more like an obsession on Queen's part to "have Bo" all to herself.
4))) Important points to highlight: Bo managed to be sold 5 times in this series... 5 TIMES! Congratulations, not everyone can achieve that.
An attempt to find new talent, not to make a good series.
Let's be realistic: This series (so far) has a very poor script, lackluster acting, uninspired protagonists, and supporting characters who make no difference to the story. They're only there to exist and steal screen time that could be used to deepen the story and add realism.Everything happens without the slightest attempt at explanation or even minimal realism. Two women join forces to start a company, and out of nowhere, several women appear begging to join? If a company is newly opened, the number of employees is very small, often limited to the founders and partners, as there aren't many clients and salaries are practically nonexistent; almost everything a company earns in the beginning goes back into its own investment. Not here, though. The company opens with only ONE CLIENT and almost 10 employees! I really want to know what the agreed-upon salary was, because the series simply doesn't show it; they just go to work, and that's it.
Furthermore, the sheer number of characters is clearly an attempt to find new talent, and I understand that, but couldn't they do that with a good story? Or with several good stories? It seems like they simply gathered several women who wanted to be actresses, created a nonsensical story, and put them in the cast.
The supporting characters have no purpose in this series; they were given some personality traits (at least that's good), but they weren't given an interesting, in-depth storyline. They just threw them into the series and that's it, so we can't get attached to them.
Besides what's already been said, there are many outdated stereotypes in the series that it doesn't help to break down. Instead, it reinforces them. An example of this is the classic "ugly girl transformed into a pretty girl." I know beauty is subjective, but if we're talking about beauty according to what society dictates, that girl was completely within the beauty standards! Let's see: They took a girl and told us she was ugly and that she was bullied because of it, so I thought, "They're going to talk to the girl to make her feel confident the way she is, right? Because half of someone's beauty comes from their confidence, not from aesthetics themselves," but no! They were wrong twice! First, why, instead of trying to make her ugly (according to society's standards of what is ugly or not), could they have given her crooked and rotten teeth, warts on her face, giant eyebrows, horrible hair, skin blemishes, etc.? But no, they simply put normal glasses on her with thick black frames and braided her hair in two braids without combing it first. That's it! Seriously, I expected much more. During the transformation, I thought, "Well, since she's not ugly, maybe they'll put colored contact lenses in her eyes, dye and cut her hair, maybe even curl it to make a big difference..." No. They just combed her hair and took off her glasses. I hope the service was cheap.
NOTE: Englot is a very famous duo, but it's a fact that they make very bad series together; this is already their 4th GL and only Petricor manages to avoid being a complete failure.
It is worth it: Unexpected Plot Twist / No Cliché / Different
This is not a romance, be warned. It is a story of investigation, mystery and a touch of fantasy. It's the story of a "sheriff" (that's how it appears to me in the caption), who investigates cases with her work partner. For some reason, some crime cases begin to be linked to a mysterious woman called "The Woman in Red". This woman manages to fulfill her wish in exchange for having access to her thoughts (and memories, apparently). With each episode new crime cases emerge, and twists are discovered about who is guilty of each crime... But that's not all, for some reason the sheriff starts to have strange dreams, and then the questions remain: "What are these dreams?", "Who is the woman in red?", "Why is she helping me in exchange for nothing?"I confess that I had some doubts at the end of the series, but I hope there is a second season, as it is really very good. Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that it was very well executed, always encouraging the viewer to watch the next episode, and very well recorded, with excellent image quality.
Great to watch when you don't know what to watch
The actors are taken to an island where children take care of everything. Saying that, the first thing that comes to mind is "It's going to be an endless mess", but the truth couldn't be more different from that.The actors need to buy their food and pay for expenses on the island with chocolate coins, and they earn it by doing services on the island.
There are business stores, a bank, a residents' center (responsible for disputes between the island's residents), a driving school, an education center (a school where residents must attend a specific time every day) and even a patrol that inspects the island daily. and punishes temporary residents (actors) if they do not follow the island's standards.
It's actually very interesting to see. At the education center, actors learn something every day, whether it's a game, a dance or something else like that.
At the bank you can place bets, buy shares on the island, make investments on the stock market and even participate in the lottery.
The patrol that monitors the island punishes actors who do not follow the island's standards by sending them to the adult island, where they need to solve a serious adult problem. With each passing day they become 1 year younger, and benefits are released as a result.
A very weak series, with good photography and direction, but that's about it.
The series has no problems, no villain, no plot, and not much emotion. A series CAN be good without some of these elements, but unfortunately this one isn't the case. It lacks charisma. The protagonists are very bland, lacking personality. One is confused, and the other is a kind of "good conscience" for the other. They don't seem real, and there's no romantic chemistry. The only saving grace is the supporting couple, who have an interesting plot involving hidden sexuality. But in the case of the main couple, it's just a saleswoman learning to manage a market and another character, a teacher, who does everything at the same time. A very weak series, with good photography and direction, but that's about it.There was no expectation (on my part) for them to get together. The reason they found in the series to separate the characters was very weak; it almost seemed like they wanted to separate and were just waiting for a reason, any reason. Then the director included a random scene of a random conversation just to break up. Is it really that difficult to find a real, serious reason for them to separate? When I saw the scene, I thought, "Okay, but she's an adult and made a choice about how to resolve a momentary problem. It's not like the character is giving up something forever, so this won't lead to anything, right?" Result: A meaningless breakup scene.
The ending made absolutely no sense! Wan says, "I have to do this or I'll be wasting my potential," and then there's this tense atmosphere of "What happens now?", and in the next scene, she simply appears and says, "I've changed my mind," without any logical explanation. There was no development for her to change her mind; she just changed her mind, and that was it. Because the series was ending, and there was no more time or desire to develop anything to convince us why she changed her mind, she decided to waste her potential. Very lazy script.
PS: Even the secondary couple that was keeping me hooked on the series started to irritate me by the end. Pink is so annoying! She didn't make an effort in three years to resolve her situation with her girlfriend, then dropped the bomb on her mother and got upset that she didn't digest it instantly. Don't get me wrong, it would be perfectly normal for her mom to turn and say, "It's okay, daughter," but since Pink herself said her mom might not accept it well, she could start to instill doubt in her mom's mind so she can start working on the idea of having a sapphic daughter, you know? Not because Pink "WOULD HAVE TO GIVE CLUES" that she's a sapphic, but this is about being smart. If you don't know if your parents will accept you, start giving them clues. Not because you have to, but because that way when you tell your parents, they'll already be suspicious. Imagine this: You start complimenting a lot of women in front of your parents, you start to slowly reveal that you watch GL, you casually ask what they would think if you liked girls, you ask your mom if she's ever felt like kissing a girl, things like that. This will start to instill doubt in your parents' minds. When a doubt arises in our minds, it's natural to start thinking about hypothetical scenarios, so naturally, her parents will at some point think, "What if my daughter likes women?" In this scenario, they'll start to process this information gradually, and when you tell them you're a sapphic, they'll already be prepared for it because they've imagined it a few times, and they'll still have that feeling of "I always knew my daughter was a sapphic," when in fact, you made it happen. When you found out she was a sapphic, it all started with the "What if..." thought too. Plus, Pink only complains to her mother; nothing is right. If her mother stays away until she can process everything, it's bad; if she treats Pink's girlfriend excessively, it's bad; if she buys clothes, it's bad; if she acts strange because she hasn't digested the news yet (but is trying), she thinks it's bad too. What a boring girl!
The series could easily be mistaken for a Hollywood show, as the production is impeccable.
The series is only in its early stages for now, but what I can already notice is that the production is impeccable! From the opening sequence, which is very unique and striking, you can feel from the moment you start that this work is different from other GLs. Does that mean it will be as good as the others? Only time will tell, but so far I have nothing negative to say. The acting is very good, especially Mable's... The scenes where she fights, especially the one where blood drips from her head, are very "Absolute Cinema". Seriously, congratulations. Furthermore, the supporting characters are captivating, even the henchwomen of the "bad girl" in prison. The plot is very good, and honestly, I don't know where it's going; there are several possible paths. The only character I found somewhat empty in the series is the prison director (not because he's a man, just to be clear), because he seems to be a "copy and paste" of any other arrogant man in a position of power from any other series. It seems like I'm seeing a character that's been repeated from any other series with this type of character; so far, he hasn't shown any kind of distinct depth or captivating arc, but that could change.In addition, the way they direct the scenes, the cinematography, the music are impressive. If they hadn't told me it was a series made by a small production company, I would have believed it was made by Netflix.
A história em si é muito cativante e engraçada, dá vontade de ver de novo e de novo. Eu já vi umas 5 vezes. O casal secundário e as duas melhores amigas são as pessoas que realmente roubaram a cena. O elenco em si é muito aconchegante, e faz você se sentir em casa. Há muitos momentos engraçados e acredito que não tenha um momento em que a história empaque, então por que 5,5? Vamos lá:*Não me emocionei em nenhum momento na série (Para mim é importante tanto rir quanto chorar para um dorama ser completo);
*Não houve plot;
*Acho que revelaram a verdadeira identidade dela muito cedo;
*Não acreditei de VERDADE no amor do casal principal (Aquele amor épico sabe? Que você diz "Ou eles ficam juntos ou ficam sozinhos pra sempre por que não tem outra opção para esses dois");
*Não houve um assunto profundo escondido na séria como geralmente tem, mesmo nas sérias de comédia.
*E por fim, o final não foi satisfatório. Como desde o início sempre era falado sobre casamento o fato de não terem se casado no final decepcionou (Caso não fosse algo tão abordado desde o início, acredito que não teria problema).
The best GL of the year (so far), and maybe the TOP 5 GL of all time
