A Story That Doesn't Force a Perfect Ending
This was a pretty decent movie. I was actually glad it didn't rely on cheating, which is something I've come across in a few sapphic movies, especially ones centered around couples about to get married. What I liked the most was that it didn't try to force an ending just to satisfy the audience. Instead, it leaves things open, giving you the freedom to interpret what happens next. It may not work for everyone, but I found that approach more honest than trying to wrap everything up neatly.
I also appreciated how it focused more on the real struggles people go through in relationships and within themselves. It touched on the judgment and emotional weight that can come with being part of the LGBTQ+ community without making those moments feel overly dramatic. Everything felt realistic, which made it easier to connect with the characters and their experiences.
