cozy rom com with some flaws.
overall a cute drama.our female lead has always been a huge fan of the boy band DNX。
when the opportunity arises she applyes for a job at the fashion company owned by her bias.
there she gets the chance to get closer to her crush and his aloof co owner. will things go as planned?
the plot is really simple but this enjoyable. this is a very predictable love triangle but the enjoyment is not taken away from the simplicity of the plot.
the characters have all distinct personality and struggles which makes them enjoyable to watch.
how the romantic plot develops is pretty predictable but this well executed.
things I didn't particulalrly like:
the CEO. I am not very familiar with this actor. he is good but frankly he was scary looking. more than a rom com i feel he belongs better to horror or thriller movies, there was something about his gaze I fouund unsettling. his expressions were quite bland and overall his perforamance wasn't charming, consideriing he s the main love interest.
he and the female lead were involved in some long winded stare competition which didn't achieve was the writers think they should have.
they were nice as a couple, but to be honest I never felt the spark. my heart wasn't beating that fast watching these two getting together.
I am not saying their love story is bad, but the romantic sweeping you off your feet energy was lacking.
another particularly annoying thing of this drama is the reoccuring calls and messages interrupting important moments. they overplayed it so much it became unbeareable at the end.
the lack of other important plot lines was pretty evident.
at the very beginning we know that the boy band dismantled for some reason, but this story line gets sone attention only in the last episodes. I felt it would have been nice to follow each band member since the female lead friends all had a different bias.
speaking of the main lead friends , they didn't get the screen time they deserved. when on screen they were pleasent and had distinct personalities but the drama never pays them attention. only one friend gets some screen time as a comic relief with the attorney guy.
the friends wearing glasses seemed cool but only got 2 episodes and it wasn't even about her.
overall this is a cozy drama you can watch to turn your head off. nothing crazy but good vibes.

Team no one LOL
The formula for a successful clichéd rom-com usually includes:1. A strong, heroic male lead. (Not really.)
2. An appealing second male lead who gives viewers serious Second Lead Syndrome. (Also not really)
3. A cute side couple. (Still not quite there.)
4. Fun besties and scene-stealing sidekicks. (This was the closest thing to a success, but they barely got any screen time.)
I started this drama for Kim Hye-jun, since I've loved many of her previous works. Unfortunately, I didn't feel much chemistry between her and either ML, and the bromance didn't land for me either.
What I did enjoy:
The positive workplace vibes and supportive coworkers.
The Korean traditional knot-making scenes.
The touch on the darker side of sasaeng fan culture.
The OST.
Overall: Watchable and pleasant, especially if you're a Kim Hye-jun fan, but not a rom-com I'll be thinking about months later like Spooky in love (1st 1/2) or Business Proposal
