ML, you fall for someone just because of one small kind gesture and then end up misjudging who even did it?

This trend in vertical dramas is becoming beyond ridiculous. Yes, a thoughtful act can show someone’s good nature, and maybe make you want to get to know them or be friends. But falling head-over-heels in love based on that alone?
That’s not romantic it’s delusional.
Especially when that same "love" turns into torturing the FL and threatening her.
No stable, sane person behaves that way. Period.

🙄 2ML: Just Another ML in Disguise?

The 2ML, who’s secretly admiring the FL, can’t even recognize her face when he wakes up how is that believable?

And if his mother hadn’t told him that she was the one he liked, he would’ve treated her just like ML did. So how is he any better?

Let’s be honest he’s just ML with a different haircut.

🚩 "Sending Your Wife Away" The Ultimate Red Flag

Then comes the absurd part: 2ML actually sends his wife to another man.
Even if he was being threatened, he should’ve said,

> "Fine, take me along with my wife. I’m not letting her go alone."
> But no he gives her up, and we’re still supposed to root for him? Absolutely not.

💫 FL & 2ML's Quiet Connection 💫

While I’ve been critical of the 2ML and rightfully so I have to admit, the romance between the FL and 2ML had its charm. There was a genuine sense of understanding, comfort, and emotional clarity between them that stood out in contrast to the chaos surrounding the ML.

Yes, it may seem like I’m contradicting my earlier view of the 2ML, but good storytelling is rarely one-dimensional. We can't ignore the different layers and possibilities each character brings.

🌸 Strong Women Save the Day

Thankfully, the FL and 2FL were the only ones with brains in this entire mess.
They weren’t stupid, emotional pushovers, or indecisive.
Whatever they decided they followed through with confidence and clarity.

🎭 Acting Was Fine, But the Script? Not So Much.

The cast did what they could, but no amount of acting can rescue a weak script. The character writing especially for ML was full of holes and painfully inconsistent.

And as for the FL’s father?
I’ve completely given up.
In every other drama, the FL’s dad is cheating with a mistress and giving all his attention and wealth to his mistress child. It’s such a lazy cliché now.

🔥 FL: Emotionally Unavailable, and Proud of It

What truly stood out was the FL’s strength not just physically, but emotionally.

Even when she was around the ML, there wasn’t a single moment where she gave him hope or pity.
No sadness, no hesitation just complete detachment.
That’s rare.
In most dramas, the FL may walk away from the ML, but she stays emotionally attached which always feels weak and disappointing.
Here, the FL meant it when she said she was done.

🚫 Final Verdict: Don’t Bother

I wouldn't recommend this drama to anyone unless you're watching solely for a strong FL and a decent ending.

The plot is absurd, the ML is unbearable, and the writing is all over the place. But at least the FL’s unshakable resolve and the final part of the story gave some closure.

A Very Sad Ending

I followed this drama because I found the ML - the Bodyguard as very handsome. I also liked the way the FL was attracted to him because his looks alone deserves that attention and adulation. However, I found it lame that the ML became a bodyguard just to be close to her younger sister. C'mon. Since he came from a prominent family also he could simply court the younger sister using connection.
It is also unreasonable that such an intelligent man, the ML fell in loved with the girl without fully knowing her identity. He could have asked for more information about that girl and discover the real identity as early as possible.
It is a pity that the FL suffered so much pain and humiliation and at the end she was rejected by the man she loves to the point that she lost love for him. Even though I am happy that the FL became a very strong woman and she became free of her pains it still hurts me emotionally that the change of mind and heart of the male lead came too late.
I believe it is more victorious for the FL to win the heart of her beloved bodyguard and to be found as the heroine of his dream and that they live happily as a couple.
I found some versions in You Tube but the girl forgave the man and they became happy. Unfortunately, the actor is no longer AI HONG CHEN. I am convinced that this actor is the best guy who played the role of the Bodyguard among the many versions.

Fiquei com dó da FL, por ser apaixonada por ele e ele ter se tornado seu guarda-costas apenas porque é apaixonado pela meia-irmã insuportável.

Eu gostei da FL ao descobrir tudo, o entrega de mão beijada para meia-irmã e vai se casar com outro.

O ML como sempre parece que não tem muito cérebro, apesar de ser herdeiro XYZ. Ele acha que a 2FL resgatou um GATO mano, um G A T O e isso fez com que ele se apaixonasse por ela e ficasse lambendo suas fotos falando sozinho.. Nessa hora, sério, eu ri porque já percebi que o drama ia de mal a pior. Ai como sempre o cara fica maluco quando descobre que errou kkkkkkk Resolve sequestrar a FL de seu casamento, ameaçando matar todos presentes ali kkkkkkk
Anh sim claro, a FL vai se apaixonar mesmo por você.. Aham, espera sentado, tá?
