One of the better Noona romances out there. Zhao Jiang Yue and Gu Jia Xin sizzles on screen and their chemistry makes their romance so believable. I like the irony of an unromantic, no-nonsense woman being the tech director of a dating app, which relies on big data analytics to match potential partners. Jiang Yue's and Jia Xin's relationship really began with the ML's intention to help the FL in pursuit of her old boss. The banter between them was easy-going and friendly.

The FL's practicality clashes almost with the impulsiveness of the pro-racer ML, it also maybe due the fact that her immunity to the ML's charms has something to do with pining for her supposedly-unrequited crush. Former boss Ning Yuan's agonizingly slow and subtle romantic interest barely registers with the oblivious FL, that he required the help (or not) of an unlikely advisor in the form of FL's love-rival Yan-Ran. The SFL/SML interactions are awkwardly funny together that it works, although the SFL is equally unforgivable as the cloying chick clinging to the ML. I hate this trope in Chinese Dramas: the desperately stubborn SFL who wouldn't take no for an answer and stalks the ML everywhere. To Yan Ran's credit, at least she does it without sabotaging the FL, but instead focuses her energy on getting the Ning Yuan and Jiang Yue together.

The other couples also have their own bittersweet stories. FL/ML's BFFs Duo Xi and Qi Heng reunited after years apart and learned to work through a long-distance relationship. Social Media Influencer Jing Jing and her on/off hubby Zhang Hao had more problems that turn out to be solvable in the face of love. The love advice at the end of each episode is also cute and note-worthy. Overall, this is such a fun and flirty drama.

Cute average rom-com

Had a good time with this one, it was more of a casual drama to me because it didn't require a lot of concentration to know what was happening in the story. I loved both main characters and I even enjoyed the side characters. The story dropped off towards the end which usually happens so I didn't mind it. Acting was pretty average for all characters, it didn't take me out of the story and I wasn't embarrassed by any of them. I enjoyed how the FL stayed pretty true to her personality throughout the drama and I thought the romance was believable and well reflected. I didn't particularly enjoy her best friend's husband drama because I thought it was quite a stupid reason for drama. But I did enjoy the 2nd ML and the friend's relationship development, and I thought it was actually quite sweet.

Overall I thought it was a pretty average but enjoyable rom com.

Amazing show!!

I have repeatedly watched this show and honestly it’s so good, while shows with big age gaps (regardless of gender) tend not to be my thing, the actors have such great chemistry that I couldn’t help but love it. The story gets a small bit annoying in the middle of the show but it recovers really well and the relationship showed here is really healthy and wholesome! I like the ml isn’t like most “boss/ceo” types you usually see, and the fl isn’t super annoying! I would recommend this show as an entry level into c-dramas

Hot Romance, Hilarious Jealousy, and a Satisfying Ending

What I LOVED ❤️
1. Gu Jiaxin’s Character Growth – He started as this funloving, unserious rich boy, but oh my God, the transformation! The way he went from avoiding work to actually stepping up as acting president just to prove himself to Jiangyue? Perfection. And can we talk about that corporate power strut when he became acting president? Lol.

2. Jiaxin and Jiangyue’s Chemistry – The tension between these two?? HOT. HOT. HOT. The playful teasing, the way they naturally gravitated toward each other, and that slow burn romance was giving me life. Their first kiss came too late (like, episode 19?? Seriously??), but when it finally happened, WHEW!

3. The Supporting Characters Were Actually Fun – Qi Heng and Zheng Duoxi were such a cute side couple. I loved them, and Qi Heng's confession was actually sweet. Also, Jingjing's journey from being obsessed with the online persona she had created to finally living for herself? Chef’s kiss.

4. Jiaxin’s Jealousy Was HILARIOUS – Watching him get flustered every time Xu Ningyuan was around Jiangyue was so funny. My guy went from being her love coach to "Wait, I don’t want you to actually date him" real quick.

5. Jiangyue’s Video Proposal – I DID NOT expect to get teary eyed, but when she played that video proposing to Jiaxin at the award event, it was beautiful. The way Jiaxin’s tears were just falling? MY HEART. A perfect ending.

What DIDN’T MAKE SENSE 🤨
1. Jiangyue’s Random “I’ll Fall in Love in 3 Months” Declaration – Girl, where did that even come from? It was so out of nowhere. The writers were definitely just trying to push the plot forward.

2. Li Yanran’s Clinginess – Listen, I get it, some dramas love the "childhood friend who won’t let go" trope, but this girl exhausted my soul. Always pulling, yelling, inserting herself where she wasn’t wanted. And the baby voice?? NO. But, funny enough, I actually liked her with Xu Ningyuan in the end.

3. Zhang Hao’s Nonsense Logic for Divorce – This man faked an affair so he could give Jingjing a reason to leave him because his company was going bankrupt. SIR, JUST TALK TO HER. The logic?? Nonexistent.

4. Jiaxin’s Public Proposal Without Checking First – He saw a pregnancy test, assumed it was Jiangyue’s, and then went ahead to do a whole public proposal without confirming anything?? Of course, she rejected him. And of course, she wasn’t pregnant. My guy embarrassed himself for no reason.

5. Jiangyue’s Dad Giving Dating Advice Like He Wasn’t a Cheater – I was rolling my eyes so hard every time this man spoke. How is a cheating father the one giving strict rules on who his daughter should marry? He really said “A handsome man is a distraction, go for an ugly one.” Excuse me, WHAT??

Despite some questionable logic, Why Women Love was a solid romcom with lots of humour, sizzling chemistry, and great character growth. Jiaxin completely stole the show with his charm, and the ending was super satisfying. If you love office romances, enemies to lovers vibes, and a little bit of jealousyinduced comedy, then this one’s for you!

Rating: 8/10 ✨ Would watch again (but maybe skip the Li Yanran with Jiaxin scenes, lol).

You Decide

This drama has nothing to do with Why women love. More like How to win the heart of an older women and How to get your man back. I still do not understand script writers who could make such a strong FL in business but so stupid in romance. I guess us women can only do or be good at one thing at a time. The FL starts as a great character being strong and assure of her self and then she is all thrums when it comes to romance. She spend 30 years of her life and never been in love or know what it is. She must have not have any knowledge of her feelings sensory. Please give us some credit. We women have had families and still be the CEO of a company. The ML is handsome and younger then the female lead but know everything about romance. Sexes thinking. He new to have fun because he so young and learn the business so fast. I did hate the obsessive girl that they keep putting in all this drama lately. Oh! lets not forget the mature Male who was a director of a company and has always like the FL but had no courage to tell her. He has courage in business but not to tell the women he fell in love his feelings. The chemistry between the lead was very good. I did not care much about the 2nd couple and the 3rd couple seem like they were high school students that live together. I would say that the actors did a great job in their performance. The story needed to be stronger and better direction.

lovely romance

gina Jin can do romance perfectly! she is relaxed on screen even during more intimate scenes, a natural! i have completed this and have enjoyed it, but i personally get distracted by the excessive change of outfits, a production choice, which i cannot appreciate in any drama. And of course this is my personal taste. I just feel this fashionista choice is more suitable to attract a younger audience, amd can easily distract from the quality of the drama. i have started this after completing Falling into you and perhaps because in there the characters were wearing sportive attire, very light make up... i cannot deny that i liked that more, and i definitelly find the chemistry with Wand AnYu more passionate (they are actually my favourite cuple on screen xx). 😉 still, both dramas are well worth your time 😊

Normal Office Rom-Com But Better Than Normal...?

I went into this drama not expecting much but it ended up being higher C-Drama list. I will say, it's nothing really exceptional, it's a normal office rom-com type of story. What made it stand out a little more to me was the FL and ML's relationship, their individual personality, and the way the show was directed.

Positives:
- First of all, the cast (especially our main leads) is so stunning. The FL's outfits were so pretty and stylish, I wanted to buy her whole wardrobe! She was honestly a girlboss and I was living for it. I like that she didn't dive into the idea of marriage and didn't immediately change her values when the ML came into her life. Her character development throughout the show was nice to watch cause she actually took her time to think about her values and slowly make progress. I'm honestly surprised Gina Jin isn't more popular cause her acting and looks are both great (she kind of reminded me of Seo Yeji, especially with the deeper voice).
- The ML was also cute and kind of clingy type which was cute to watch. He was also very good-looking wowzers. Seeing that this is one of his first main dramas, I would say he played his character pretty well. He matched the character.
- I also enjoyed Jing Jing's story arc with her whole husband situation. She was also very stylish so loved to see that.
- The OST was pretty good, I rarely find myself listening to OSTs but this one had some good songs.

Negatives?:
- I'm sorry but it was hard for me to believe that Ning Yuan was the second lead. No offense the actor cause I'm sure he has more emotions but NingYuan's face especially in the beginning was always so plain or angry looking. Looks don't matter but mans had no emotion :|
- Yan Ran needs to learn how to take no for an answer and stop hitting people. She had some bad traits but thankfully became a bit better near the end maybe?
- Duo Xi's story was boring to me (they were literally just a lovely couple, not much going on in their relationship besides that).
- I wish they focused on the ML's and his friend's motorcycle situation more and didn't rush it for the end.

Fluffy, sweet and great chemistry

This drama is sweet, simple and fluffy. It has a unique charm cause the ML isn't a jerk or cold guy. He's actually like a breath of fresh air and not the stereotypical male lead that is harsh to the FL on first and then soft. He is actually a caring guy from the start. The roles are somewhat reversed here cause the FL is bossy and the ML obeys her but in a good way. No misunderstandings and no evil characters, just a happy drama. Would highly recommend if you're searching for a sweet fluffy romcom

Best drama 2022

This drama is very light and suitable to watch when relaxing. if you are a romance comedy drama lover, this drama is perfect. the reason I highly recommend this drama besides the reasons above is also because the storyline is not boring, and also the strong female lead and her charming partner. There's also a lot to learn about relationships and love in this drama. The setting in this drama is also very good, the interior design of ZhaoJiangYue and GuJiaXin's apartment is very good, and other settings in dramas such as Office are also very good, also in some episodes the scenery in other cities is also very beautiful.

really sweet drama, good escape from reality

story:
storyline is pretty basic, the only "different" aspect is that the guy is a lot younger than the girl (idk what this is called in english lmao but in chinese we call it 姐弟恋). the events are pretty unrealistic as in the way that the scenarios are too perfect to be true, but nevertheless a good escape from the (maybe) sad reality some people are facing LOL

acting/cast:
jin chen and wang zi yi are both fairly new to the acting industry im assuming, especially wang zi yi because i know him from nine percent, and i know jin chen from a lot of dance related competition shows. i didn't know what to expect in their acting skills, but i was surprised to say the least! it wasn't cringe, the cute moments WERE SO CUTE!! i saw some clips of the behind the scenes of some of the intimate scenes and the acting was so natural. after one of the scenes jin chen even started blushing and hid under the sheets which i thought was so cute.

music:
usually i don't pay attention to the music in modern day dramas, but for some reason these songs were so sweet and catchy. during one of the episodes wang zi yi also sang his single "first sight", which i had already been obsessed with prior to watching this drama so that was a surprise. the main ost is sung by both jin chen and wang zi yi (i think?) and they both sound rly good!

rewatch value:
even though it was a cute little drama, i probably won't rewatch it. i will def come across more scenes on other social medias in the future and might rewatch certain episodes, but probably not the whole drama.

overall:
great drama, i already recommended it to one of my friends who just finished watching a really depressing one LOL (i ended up watching that one, it's called love and redemption). i saved the last episode of this drama to watch after i finished the depressing one and it's a good refresh for my mental health :)

Good-lookers with chemistry!

This drama popped up on my YouTube feed and I’m so glad that it did! I have watched the FL in other dramas before and I think she’s a fine actress and good-looking. Thus, I decided to ‘wing it’ and watch this drama. I’m thrilled that I did!

What I loved a lot:
- The chemistry between the leads is cute yet hot, sweet yet full of sizzle. They light up the screen as they are gorgeous and they have chemistry. Love seeing them together. Their development from not liking each other to being infatuated to being deeply in love is believable and realistic. Towards the end, their kisses are yummy to watch! So in love!
- The music isn’t much of a big deal but it works.
- This drama is very low on angst and has hardly any villains. I like this as I’m quite tired of dramas that are full of angst and awful, annoying villains. To me, this drama is a refreshing and happy change/ breather!
- This is my first time watching the ML but wow, I’ve also ‘fallen in like’. He’s definitely easy on the eyes and he has a gorgeous body.
- The clothes in the drama are stylish and the ML and FL look so charming!

The little bit of not so good:
- There’s no plot. Actually, nothing very much happens other than sweet fluff. Every small issue gets resolved asap so, there is little to mull over.
- The ML starts off quite stiff and he is, quite obviously, not a seasoned actor. But, he becomes better and better as the episodes go on!
- The stubborn girl, Yanran, is quite hard to watch at first but she becomes better too as the episodes go on. Some actors are quite stiff and are quite redundant. Some scenes are unbelievable but this is a drama after all.

*Overall, I highly recommend this drama especially if you are looking for something light, easy and ‘uneventful’ in a good way! :)
WATCH! :) thumbs up!*

Typical Kdrama RomCom with lots of skinship

So far this cdrama is more to reality even though it was not perfect at least it do not deal with time travelling, falling in love with an alien bf/gf or stuck in a VR or novel.

This cdrama involved with a few couples that is the main couple - Zhao Jiang Yue with Gu Jia Xin (noona & dong saeng romance), Qi Heng & Duoxi (schoolmate friendship turns romance), Qian Jing Jing & Zhang Hao (married, divorced & remarried) & last & not least Xu Ning Yuan & Li Yi Ran (uncle & young gal alliance turned romance).

Let's begin with the main couple - Zhao Jiang Yue & Gu Ji Xin both showed on the screen chemistry & sparks with lots of skinship starting from episode 19 onwards. Wang Zi Yi acted as Gu Ji Xin is considered as an idol singer to me rather than an actor so his acting skill is considered okay but if he intents to continue acting then I suggest he should take up acting lessons to sharpen his acting skills. As for Gina Jin as Zhao Jiang Yue - her acting is far better than Wang Zi Yi.
For the supporting couples their acting skill so far so good except for Li Yi Ran role at times I cannot accept her childish role. Her role was really a pain for me to watch as she does not show any maturity since she is supposed to act as a 22 years old lady but she went around chasing after the ML - Gu Ji Xin then later change her ship to uncle - Xu Ning Yuan. I don't think any 22 years old lady will act like Li Yi Ran that childish & glue type gf.

The OSTs - I like the ending OST the most. The rest of the OSTs are equally good & pleasant to listen for me.

Story & plot - It's a straight forward romance story without any plot which means no 3rd party wheel to break up the main couple relationship. Every episode ended with few tips on how to maintain a good & healthy relationship or how to overcome a breakup & etc.

Overall I find it's good in the sense of it's light-hearted, no violence or back stabbing but on romance. So if you like something light, fluffy & comedy then this might suit your taste as it has a total of 24 episodes with an average of 40 mins per/episode air time so it's easy to watch & digest.
