Love, though arising between two people, can only last if both families accept it, particularly the mother. There's a young woman so perfect, almost celestial, that no one dares reach for her. She has a close friend, a handsome young man who's always been by her side. He acts as her personal bodyguard, warding off ill-intentioned men. She can come and go from his home as if she were another of his mother's children. Everything takes a turn, however, when she transitions from friend to girlfriend. In his mother's eyes, she's stealing her son's love away. (Source: Change2561; edited by kisskh) Edit Translation

With the Club Friday series, you can always expect some wild shit and this was no different. The mother is very crazy and mentally unstable (due to her past relationship), so she’s trying to cage her daughter in and doesn’t trust any man. I don’t blame her, but to not trust your daughter and trapping her in is so unhealthy. Dao should be lucky her daughter stuck around as much as she did (and forgave her in the end). There’s a lot of untrustworthy men out there and thankfully Jelly came across a good one. The couple faced a lot of obstacles, mainly caused by Dao. I was a little scared getting into this series, because when there’s 2 girls and 1 guy, there’s a lot of cheating going on or it ends in a throuple. Duean raised a good kid. One thing I hated was that the girl Dao hired, got away with everything. I know these stories are usually submitted (from the last time I remember) and people do get away with a lot, but I wished Jelly could’ve gotten some kind of revenge.
Along with the kids having their own storyline, there’s a separate storyline with Dao and Duean. There’s not a lot of focus, but there’s enough to see more into their relationship and how they know each other. They were the main reason I watched this Theory of Love story. If you’ve seen other Club Friday wlw plots, you know that a lot of the don’t end on a good/happy note. I was shocked that this one did, however it was the first time I didn’t want it. Of course, down the line I would’ve loved for Dao and Duean to end up together. I feel like Duean can give Dao the love and healing she deserves, but Dao need proper and professional therapy. She’s still going to worry about Jelly and focus more on “protecting” her daughter rather than being able to live her own life with Duean. Their relationship in the end was very fast paced and forced. Dao is not ready for it.
For a 4-5 ep series, it was well paced and packed with a lot of drama. All the actors did an amazing job! It was a decent watch, but might be a little triggering due to the theme and certain topics such as abuse and rape.
If you're here for another crazy Club Friday segment, enjoy!
If you're here for the moms storyline, then I don't think it's really worth it. It probably won't satisfy your needs like the current thai gls😅
