White Flowers and Fruits (2025)

This phantom fantasy centers on Anna, a girl who struggles to fit in and repeatedly transfers schools. After transferring to a boarding school for girls deep in a quiet forest, Anna meets her roommate, Rika. Rika was beautiful, perfect, and well-liked, but soon after, she jumped off the roof and took her own life. All that's left behind is a diary detailing the anguish, anger, and pain hidden behind Rika's smile, as well as memories of her childhood friend, Shiori, and certain feelings she cannot put into words. As Anna reads through the diary, Rika's spirit appears, like a pale, flickering will-o'-the-wisp, and she begins to quietly consume her. Meanwhile, Shiori initially shuns Anna, calling her "strange," but, as if guided by Rika's spirit, she gradually begins to approach her. The question, "Why did this perfect girl jump?" sinks deep into the hearts of the surviving girls, and each of their "selves" begins to waver.
