Went from calling him slurs to calling him his husband

I don’t write reviews for special episodes that are only one episode because I don’t see the point but I’ll let it slide because I really wanted to use the headline lol. Because I thought it was funny.

After 26 episodes. Like 10 years in the show, I think and 1 month and 3 days in real life. Everything was this show is done. The sex tape ending kinda went crazy, other than that, the wedding was mid and I’m disappointed they didn’t do more with this lol.

If they did actually do more with this then the review would have definitely been a higher. I’m not saying a ten but it would have been higher. But they didn’t do more with this, so it’s a 7.5 stars out of 10 stars.

The ending picture at the wedding was cute. And the flashback scenes like I didn’t watch the show, the season 2, and the two specials all in one go. They had some pretty good lines in this. I’ll give them that.

Nothing happened. Wouldn’t recommend. But if you are just like damn I’ve really gotten this far and I’m not going to watch them get married, like I did. Just go for it. It’s a light 1 hour 10 minutes. And you just see all the characters. Okay I’m gonna try and finish Vice versa now, because I’m done with all things Tharntype. Okay bye!

Good comedy

You might be wondering why I watch this special when I don’t ship them? Well, I guess I was just curious. I mean I watched both seasons, so I guess it wouldn’t kill me to watch one more episode.

I did like the comedy – especially Techno, lmao he’s just the best – in this one again. Without techno, it would sure be boring. Tho Type’s father was also pretty hilarious again. The dad talk was pretty funny ngl 😂.

The wedding scene was kinda awkward tho. I get that same-sex marriage isn’t allowed in Thailand but couldn’t they’ve still made it like a traditional marriage? As in, the father bringing one of them to the altar, instead both of them just walking in there. Also, are you even married if you’re not blessed by a priest? 🤔

Well, nvm, the ending with the behind the scenes and bloopers was really nice tho. 👌

Perfect ending of great series.

This was just a perfect ending after watching both sesaos of TharnType.

2 minor issues, 1 missed the wife of Torn at the wedding, and why the heck were the ex girlfriend of Type and her friend at the wedding. You never saw anything about them in the rest of the series, so it was weird to see them at he wedding.

I will watch this special episode again when i rewatch the series.

Cute ending, nothing much happened

The wedding was nice. I think gathering everyone together to say goodbye to the TharnType franchise was nice. The two got their happy ending. All is well that ends well, right? I also like that the whole episode revolved mostly around Tharn and Type and their relationship. They are the main couple and focus of the series after all. I am disappointed that a big part of this episode were recaps and flashbacks to parts we have already seen in the other TharnType series. We still got a lot of new footage, so it wasn’t a complete waste of time.

My complaint is that Techno did not get a happy ending. We have seen everyone get a partner, live their lives, etc. yet Techno has no significant other. I am kind of sad about it, because he was probably my favorite character.

And with this being a conclusion to the TharnType story, I feel like it's appropriate to add that they have left certain things unresolved. Or making very little sense with how they wrapped it up. Which is a bit disapointing.

Ending

This episode is basically everyone having an ending except for Tehno.
Dr khunpol & Champ getting ahead in their relationship, Loe & Fiat moving ahead in theirs whereas Tharn & Type are working to prepare different things related to the wedding and finally getting married.
I would say, adding it as a special episode for people to pay just for 1 episode isn't good, but doing it as the final episode of Season 2 would have been the best.
I watched the series about a month ago and just found out that it has 1 special episode that I missed.

The story is over

I feel that the special episode was okay. Although there were a lot of awkward interactions.
To be 100% honest the episodes as a whole was poorly written most of the time I didn’t feel like there wasn’t a script at all. But I felt that way many times throughout the series.
The wedding prep was cute and conclusion of all the characters stories wrapped up for the most part.

(I can’t remember I’m some names off the top of my head and I’m too lazy to look them up)

Champ finally figured out his feelings for the Doc. Although in the novel they are already together Im not sure why they changed that for the series.

The nosy neighbors story was awkward but at least they are together. Their story was really not well thought out.

Tharn’s cousin and boyfriend are happy. But I feel there was a personality change or maybe it was just me.

P’Kong and P’Jeed I think are happy?? LOL

Types dad finally “likes” Tharn. Well maybe lol... thanks Princess

My only complaint was Fiat and Leo honestly as soon as they popped up I skipped ahead. There whole scene was unnecessary in my opinion.

The only character that didn’t get a real conclusion I feel was No. Since Kangla was not in the season No’s story line was weird. Correct me if I’m wrong but did they even mention Kla? It was awkward.

I feel that the special from season 1 is more rewatch worthy than this special.

Please don’t get me wrong in am happy with the episode and the conclusion. I’m just being picky.

**I may continue to edit this as the episode sinks in.

TharnType Season 2 Special: The Wedding Day — The Perfect Goodbye

After following Tharn and Type through everything they experienced over the past two years, I honestly couldn't have asked for a better ending. The Wedding Day isn't trying to create one last dramatic obstacle or force unnecessary conflict between them. Instead, it celebrates everything the couple has overcome and gives them the happy ending they truly deserve.

The story is wonderfully simple because it doesn't need to be anything else. This special isn't about asking whether Tharn and Type belong together anymore—that question was answered long ago. It's about watching two people who fought through countless misunderstandings, personal struggles, and family issues finally reach the point where they can confidently choose each other forever. Sometimes, that's all an ending needs.

Mew Suppasit and Gulf Kanawut remain the heart of the entire franchise. Their chemistry feels just as effortless as ever, and because we've spent so much time watching these characters grow together, every smile, every joke, and every emotional moment carries extra weight. They don't have to convince us that Tharn and Type love each other anymore. We already know it, and that's exactly what makes this final chapter so satisfying.

One thing I particularly appreciated is that the special gives fans time to simply enjoy the couple. Rather than rushing from one dramatic event to another, it allows us to celebrate alongside them. After all the emotional highs and lows of the series, slowing down was exactly the right decision. It makes the wedding feel earned instead of simply becoming another plot point.

The production also feels slightly more polished than before. The ceremony itself is beautifully presented without becoming overly extravagant, and the music fits the atmosphere perfectly. For once, I actually noticed the soundtrack because it quietly enhances the emotion instead of disappearing into the background.

More than anything, this special feels like a farewell—not just to Tharn and Type, but to everything this franchise has represented. It's the final chapter of a journey that began with two completely opposite personalities learning to understand each other, and it ends exactly where it should: with two people choosing to build a life together.

Final Thought

The Wedding Day is the ending I wanted for Tharn and Type. It doesn't rely on unnecessary drama or last-minute twists because it understands that the journey has already been completed. Instead, it gives fans one final opportunity to celebrate one of BL's most memorable couples and lets the story close with happiness rather than heartbreak. As a conclusion to both the series and Mew and Gulf's journey as Tharn and Type, I honestly couldn't have asked for much more.
