Okay, so I randomly picked up this drama because I love Ji Sung, and Oh My God, I’ve only watched the first two episodes and I am already obsessed! My stomach genuinely hurts from laughing so much. If you need something light, super funny, and chaotic for the weekend, this is IT.The whole plot is just so wild and unhinged. You have this ex-gangster boss who decides the best way to steal 10 billion won is by becoming the president of an apartment complex. Like, who even thinks of that?! But the real gold is the "fake family" setup.The fake wedding scene in episode 1 had me rolling on the floor. Ji Sung and Ha Yoon-kyung have this weird, bickering chemistry that just works so well. One minute they are faking a romantic moment with a thumb-kiss, and the next minute they are arguing like they’ve been trapped in a toxic marriage for 50 years. Ha Yoon-kyung is such a breath of fresh air here—she’s so chaotic and money-minded, I love her character already.And Ji Sung? The man never misses. He looks so intimidating but then does the goofiest things while dealing with the nosy apartment aunties and grandpas. The entire neighborhood is full of weird, shady, and hilarious people, which makes the whole vibe feel like a complete madhouse.It honestly reminds me a bit of The Fiery Priest or Vincenzo vibes where it's a crime/heist story but the comedy is just turned up to 100.Only two episodes in, but I'm 100% hooked. If they keep up this exact energy and comedy timing, this is easily going to be one of my favorite watches this year. Go watch it right now, you won't regret it!

The idea seemed pretty interesting from the start: two bad guys competing over something and in the end someone "accidentally" became the good guy. The issue is also very realistic: apartment resident's maintenance funds corruption, hiding their scheme behind everyone's fear of the apartment price dropping (revealing a corruption could lead to a bad image of the apartment). The way how they embezzled it, the cartel they built, all seems too real. A lot of people even complained about this show because it seems their schemes got revealed. Comedy part added more flavour into this show.

Ji Sung as the main character, the "big-hearted" ex-mafia Park Hae Kang, did a great job here. But I think the supporting ensemble casts were the one who bring the soul into this show. Park Byung Eun played the two-faced villain, Lee Chung Won, impressively. Moon So Ri brought so much main character spirit into a supporting character of the annoying Jang Suk Jin out of nowhere. Kim Won Hae landed another "impactful" supporting character after Undercover Miss Hong and he never fails. Most of the comedy came from his moment.

Unfortunately, those strong characters took toll a lot on Ha Yoon Kyung. For a female lead, Kang Ha Ri wasn't very impactful. I feel like her screentime was just about the same with Suk Jin or Gyeong Nam. This limited Yoon Kyung's freedom and chance to show what she gets. I wondered why nobody ever noticed the disappearance of President Seo and his family. Nobody even tried to look for him, even when they were normally nosy about everything else. The three building representative who were close with President Seo seemed confusing. They once said they should side with the one who has the upper hand, but they kept switching sides without any valid reason. They casually sided with both Hae Kang (during the reveal of the 17.8B box) and Chung Won (during Taegang apology) sides.

It's still a good watch. The idea of the story was excellent, even though the execution was just decent. Worth a one-time watch.

The Apartment Job Review: Great Chemistry, Wrong Genre for Me

This is a good drama, but I ended up dropping it because it just wasn't my kind of show.

I already knew it wasn't a romance or rom-com. The genres are Thriller, Mystery, Comedy, and Crime, but lately I've been in the mood for lighthearted romance, so I was hoping this drama would surprise me. After watching so many edits on Instagram, I thought the leads had amazing chemistry and decided to give it a chance.

And honestly, the chemistry is there. The leads work really well together, but the drama never turns that chemistry into an actual romance. It's always the non-romance dramas that give us the best chemistry.

The cast fits their roles perfectly, and the performances are really good. The story is engaging if you enjoy mystery, crime, and thriller dramas. It just wasn't what I was looking for at the moment.

If you're a fan of thrillers, mysteries, and crime dramas with great character dynamics, The Apartment Job is definitely worth checking out. Just don't go in expecting a romance.

Uma história cativante

O dorama mistura comédia, crime, golpes e uma boa dose de confusão dentro de um condomínio, acompanhando Park Hae-gang e Ha-ri em uma história que começa com interesses bem duvidosos, mas acaba tomando rumos inesperados.
O que mais gostei foi justamente essa transformação dos personagens. A família que começou sendo de mentira acabou se tornando uma família de verdade. E o golpista, que no início só pensava em dinheiro e nos próprios interesses, aos poucos mostrou que ainda tinha um bom coração. Foi muito bom acompanhar essa mudança.
E eu confesso: eu queria MUITO um romance entre Park Hae-gang e Ha-ri! 😂 Os dois tinham uma química que dava para explorar muito mais. Falando um pouquinho do vilão louco, foi uma satisfação ele receber o que merecia!
Por fim achei uma história diferente, divertida e muito gostosa de acompanhar. A mistura de golpes, corrupção, personagens malucos e situações engraçadas funcionou muito bem, e o mais importante: o dorama terminou fechadinho.

Quand un plan foireux finit par créer une vraie famille...

Bon, je ne vais pas mentir, je suis surtout venue pour le concept de "Apartment Job", qui me faisait un peu penser à "Vincenzo", un drama que j'avais adoré 😍. Bref, ici on va suivre un ancien chef de gang fauché qui décide de se faire élire président du syndic de sa copropriété pour mettre la main sur le pactole de la résidence et se refaire une santé financière... Mais évidemment, son petit plan va rapidement prendre une tournure inattendue... 😅

Alors franchement, j'ai passé un bon moment du début à la fin !!! J'ai vraiment kiffé le côté complètement décalé et assumé du drama. On est sur de la comédie, des magouilles, de la corruption, des plans plus ou moins foireux et surtout... une bande de voisins qui n'ont absolument rien demandé mais qui vont finir embarqués dans tout ce bazar 😂

Déjà, Park Hae-gang est clairement le genre de rôle qui va à merveille à Ji Sung. Ce n'est pas le "héros" qui débarque avec son grand cœur pour sauver tout le monde... Non, non !!! Au début, il pense surtout à lui et à l'argent 😄. Mais petit à petit, il finit par réellement s'attacher à ces voisins 🫶🏻. Et j'ai aimé le voir changer sans que le drama efface complètement son côté magouilleur. Il reste lui-même, juste avec un peu plus de cœur qu'au départ 🥹. Et j'ai trouvé ça très appréciable.

Et alors... ces habitants !!! 😂 Ralala, ils sont exceptionnels !!! Il y en a toujours un pour rajouter son grain de sel et créer une situation encore plus improbable... Je trouve que c'est vraiment eux qui rendent certaines scènes encore plus drôles. Et sans même m'en rendre compte, je me suis attachée à cette petite communauté. Ils donnent vraiment une âme à la copropriété et j'avais finalement envie de les voir s'en sortir tous ensemble 💪🏻

J'ai aussi beaucoup aimé cette "fausse famille" créée au départ uniquement pour aider Hae-gang à gagner son élection. Parce qu'évidemment, vous vous doutez bien que ça ne va pas rester aussi simple... 😂 Au fil des épisodes, cette famille de façade finit par devenir une vraie famille et j'ai adoré voir ces personnages commencer à réellement compter les uns sur les autres🫰🏻

Et puisqu'on parle des personnages, petit mot pour Lee Chung-won, parce que Park Byung-eun est juste PARFAIT dans ce rôle !!! 🤩. Ce calme, cette façon de parler tranquillement alors qu'on sent qu'il y a toujours quelque chose derrière... franchement, ce personnage lui va à merveille. Et j'ai vraiment aimé son opposition avec notre ML. D'un côté, Hae-gang est impulsif, bruyant et complètement imprévisible, tandis que Chung-won est posé, calculateur et semble toujours avoir plusieurs coups d'avance. J'ai adoré leurs face-à-face parce que je ne savais jamais vraiment jusqu'où chacun était prêt à aller... 😰

J'ai également beaucoup apprécié le côté satirique du drama. Derrière les situations comiques et les plans plus ou moins foireux, ça parle quand même de corruption, d'abus de pouvoir et de personnes qui profitent du système au détriment des autres. Alors oui, le drama ne se prend clairement pas toujours au sérieux, mais le fond reste intéressant et j'ai aimé ce petit mélange entre comédie complètement barrée et critique du système 👍🏻

Après, évidemment, il faut accepter le côté parfois "bon là, on va faire comme si c'était totalement normal" 😂 parce que certaines situations sont franchement tirées par les cheveux. Mais personnellement, je trouve que ça fait partie du contrat. Je n'avais pas besoin d'un drama réaliste au millimètre près, je voulais juste un divertissement qui me fasse passer un bon moment... et sur ce point, c'est réussi 😉

Je ne dirais pas que "Apartment Job" est révolutionnaire, mais c'est typiquement le genre de petite surprise qui fonctionne grâce à son casting, son humour et surtout ses personnages. C'est le genre de drama devant lequel tu passes un bon moment sans te prendre la tête 👍🏻

Bref, si tu hésites... bah tu peux FONCER !!! 😅 L'intrigue est sympa, c'est facile à suivre, les personnages sont attachants et il y a suffisamment de magouilles pour ne jamais vraiment s'ennuyer. Que demander de plus ?!? 😉✌🏻

10/10 Pure entertainment - clever, funny and full of heart

I'm genuinely surprised The Apartment Job isn't getting more love because, for me, it has just about everything ! want from an entertaining drama.
It has crime, comedy, corruption, clever schemes, strategic problem-solving and a wonderful group of characters who gradually develop that warm, slightly dysfunctional family feeling that K-dramas do so well. There's also just enough hint of romance to add another layer without taking over the story.
It actually reminds me quite a lot of the movie Tower Heist with Ben Stiller - not because the stories are identical, but because it has that same enjoyable feeling of watching a group of unlikely people come together, use their individual strengths and try to outsmart people who have abused their money and power.
Ji Sung is fantastic in the lead, but what really makes the show work for me is the ensemble. The characters bounce off one another beautifully, the comedy genuinely makes me laugh, and underneath all the fun there is a satisfying story about exposing corruption and finding clever ways around seemingly impossible situations.
Most importantly, it's FUN. I look forward to each new episode, which is probably the best compliment I can give any series.
If you enjoy clever caper stories, great characters, found-family dynamics, humour, a little romance and watching corrupt people get outsmarted, give The Apartment Job a chance. I absolutely love it.

Eu fui pelo golpe e fiquei pelos moradores.

Temas: corrupção, dinheiro, justiça, comunidade, lealdade, amizade, poder, escolhas, redenção, família e relações humanas

Eu comecei Apartment achando que ia assistir a uma história de golpe.

E, de certa forma, era exatamente isso.

Park Hae-kang, vivido por Ji Sung, é um ex-chefe de gangue que entra na disputa pela representação dos moradores de um grande condomínio porque está de olho no fundo de reserva do prédio. O plano era simples: colocar a mão no dinheiro e resolver um problema pessoal. Só que, como quase sempre acontece nesses dramas, o plano simples começa a ficar... bem complicado. 😂

E foi aí que a história me pegou.

Porque o apartamento deixa de ser apenas o cenário.

Ele vira praticamente um personagem.

Tem morador de todo tipo, interesses diferentes, conflitos, fofocas, dinheiro, vaidade, injustiça e aquela clássica guerra de condomínio que, sinceramente, às vezes parece mais perigosa que uma organização criminosa. 😂

E eu gostei muito dessa mistura.

Ji Sung, como Hae-kang, está ótimo.

Ele consegue fazer aquele tipo de personagem que deveria ser apenas um cara durão e cheio de marra, mas que aos poucos vai mostrando outras camadas.

Hae-kang tem um passado pesado, mas não é definido apenas por ele.

E eu gosto quando o roteiro dá ao protagonista espaço para mudar sem transformar essa mudança em algo artificial.

Ha Yoon-kyung, como Kang Ha-ri, também funciona muito bem.

Ela é uma aspirante a advogada que acaba se envolvendo nessa confusão e se torna uma espécie de contraponto para Hae-kang. Enquanto ele resolve muita coisa na base do improviso e da experiência de rua, ela traz raciocínio, conhecimento jurídico e uma visão diferente do que está acontecendo.

Gostei bastante da dinâmica dos dois.

Não senti que o romance precisava ser o centro da história.

Ele está ali, aparece aos poucos e acrescenta uma camada gostosa à relação, mas o drama não depende dele para funcionar.

E isso, para mim, foi um acerto.

Moon So-ri, como Jang Sook-jin, é outra figura que merece destaque.

Ela é aquela moradora que sabe absolutamente tudo sobre absolutamente todo mundo. 😂

E eu adoro personagens assim quando são bem usados, porque eles acabam funcionando como uma espécie de radar da história.

Já Park Byung-eun, como Lee Chung-won, traz o contraponto de poder e dinheiro. Ele é um empresário da construção civil e morador da cobertura, justamente alguém que também está interessado naquele fundo de reserva.

E aí o que parecia ser apenas uma história de golpe vira uma trama de corrupção, interesses e disputa de poder.

Gostei especialmente de como o drama vai ampliando a história.

O que começa como:

“Como vamos pegar esse dinheiro?”

vai se transformando em:

“Afinal, para onde foi esse dinheiro e quem está por trás disso?”

E quando percebi, já estava torcendo para eles descobrirem a verdade.

Também gostei muito do humor.

Porque uma história sobre corrupção, dinheiro e crime poderia facilmente ficar pesada demais, mas Apartment sabe quebrar a tensão com situações absurdas e relações entre os personagens.

Tem ação, investigação, comédia e um pouquinho de romance.

Uma mistura que poderia virar uma bagunça, mas aqui funciona razoavelmente bem.

Não foi um drama que me arrebatou.

Não fiquei apaixonada pelos personagens como aconteceu com alguns dos meus 10/10.

Mas fiquei entretida, curiosa e querendo saber onde aquela confusão toda ia parar.

E isso já vale bastante.

📌 Impressão final: Apartment foi uma surpresa boa. Comecei esperando um golpe e encontrei uma história sobre corrupção, justiça, comunidade e, principalmente, sobre pessoas que acabam se envolvendo umas nas vidas das outras. Tem bons personagens, humor, ação e uma dinâmica gostosa de acompanhar.

"Em condomínio, todo mundo conhece a vida de todo mundo. Só esqueceram de avisar que, dessa vez, alguém estava investigando o dinheiro." 😂

"No la compré"

No me mal entiendan, amo a Jisung, pero no todos los guiones que hizo son como para terminar de verlos y no es su culpa nunca. En este caso, pensé que me iba a reír más ya que la situación de simular una familia daba para ser muy graciosa pero no fue el caso, tal vez porque también el personaje femenino principal no es muy atractivo. El malo (el personaje, no el actor) ES MALÍSIMO valga la redundancia... parece sacado de un animé y la verdad, esos malos funcionan en los dibujitos, no en la "vida real" de la serie digamos. En fin, la dejé porque el tiempo de adultos es sagrado ¡y sólo puedo gastarlo en cosas bien buenas! ¡¡Hasta la próxima serie Jisung!!
