The Great Grandma reference is letdown for me.
I already watched Yunmiao 5 and want to make review about this drama.My biggest pet peeve this drama its similarly same to Tainai at the first and it feels lack of originality previous Yunmiao series.
Xue Binhong's fake eunuch setting and appearance add some comedic style to the drama, the plot is smooth, the pace is a bit slow at the beginning, but the pace is good after the obsession appears.
There's still a lot of verbal sparring, and the pacing hasn't improved significantly. The first story was decent, with some unexpected twists. The plot is driven purely by dialogue, making it difficult for the audience to connect with the story.
It really lacks the mysterious surprise of the first time. After the Empress's death and the appearance of the fourth princess's obsession, it enters the familiar rhythm of solving cases and helping to resolve obsessions. The character design and plot of the little girl Yun Xi acting are outstanding.
