Zhan You Qiang Wei (2025)

Combustible chemistry between Cao Sai Ya & Chen Ming Hao kept me vested in this long drama

There are multiple versions of this plot and if I am not mkstaken, this drama is version 1. I watched this drama after watching version 3 by Han Yu Tong, Zeng Hui & Zhao Ting Yi. I enjoyed this drama very much.

What I liked:
1. Romance - Fiery, hot kisses but what stood out for me is their affections toward each other. There were tender moments and playful banter and I loved every single of those moments.
2. Acting - Wow, I couldn't believe than Cao Sai Ya is 5 years younger than Chen Ming Hao but portrayed a jiejie to ML. This is my first time watching Cao Sai Ya drama and I was impressed by how she carried the role. I don't watch many Chen Ming Hao dramas but this role impressed me. I also loved their combustible chemistry. I must say I prefer this couple to real life couple Han Yu Tong and Zeng Hui when it came to FL-ML romantic scenes. I also liked the performance by actor who played the antagonist. Damn he was very tall and had menacing aura while in character.
3. FL characterisation - I liked that she wasn't a tough girl all the time. There were moments of vulnerability and it was wonderful to see her let ML see those moments.
4. Supporting characters - ML's assistant was an astute observer who subtly hinted to SML who never caught them because he was self-absorbers. SML's friend gave sound advice after SML humiliated FL and I liked that chat. ML's bestie was entertaining to watch. I also liked Shen grandpa - his interactions with ML were fun to watch.
5. ML characterisation - He was compassionate, sweet and "puppy" like. I liked that he was respectful of his brother - he didn't pursue FL once he saw and knew FL was going out with his brother.
6. Styling - Cao Sai Ya looked gorgeous in the outfits she wore. I also liked the outfits chosen for Chen Ming Hao & SML - they matched their contrasting personalities.

What I disliked:
1. Antagonist - SML Zhou Jing Su in this drama was more ruthless & narcissistic. He was willing to destroy FL's career in an attempt to get FL to resume their relationship.
2. Duration - If I am not mistaken, the drama was close to 3 hours. It was too long for me but the romantic scenes between FL and ML kept me vested in this drama.
3. Wedding dress - I didn't like it because the cutouts cheapened the look of a bride. I wish stylist had chosen a classier wedding dress.

CP fofo com um enredo novo, para mim.

Eu não conhecia esse enredo de drama, então pela primeira vez iniciei na ordem correta por acaso kkkkkk

FL: Apesar de não ter muitos figurinos, ela estava bem bonita, aparentemente este é o meu primeiro drama com a atriz Cao Sai Ya, mas gostei bastante. Apesar de todas as ameaças e ela temer realmente por sua mãe e por sua vida, ela não voltou atrás na sua decisão. Achei apenas um pouco carregada a maquiagem dela no pó.
ML: É até chocante ver a foto do perfil do Chen Ming Hao, porque no drama parecia que tinham feito ele rolar no pó e corretivo, o bicho tava mais branco que a minha parede! Mas gostei de sua atuação, aparentemente também este é meu primeiro drama com ele. Gostei de como seu personagem demonstrava muito as emoções com o olhar, os olhos vermelhos, as lágrimas e sorrisos. Realmente ficou bem natural.

ML & FL: O casal parecia muitoooo natural, era fofo acompanhar os momentos deles juntos em paz, as brincadeiras e até a maneira de atuar era leve, com bastante sorrisos, gestos fofos. Principalmente quando ela está no colo dele e fecha os olhos dele com a mão porque ela está tímida. O primeiro beijo pareceu meio estranho pelo desejo do ML, mas depois eles ficam muito bons e meigos, demonstrava sentimento mesmo.

2ML/antagonista: meu Deus do céu, que verme em forma de ser humano. Me deu nojo e muita repulsa a maneira dele agir, isso não é amor, é posse, é humilhação. Podia ter morrido kkkkkkk E merecia sofrer muito. O ator, por ser muito alto, intimidava, principalmente na cena quando ele volta de viagem e vai de encontro com a FL.

Minha cena favorita foi a FL no colo do ML, foi muito fofo a naturalidade do casal. E gostei dela mostrar sua vulnerabilidade para ele, e ele a acolher. Pareciam realmente um casal real.
O tempo de duração foi meio extenso, quase 3 horas, acelerei algumas partes do antagonista para a velocidade 1.5x porque ele me dava gastura.
