I watched this drama within the weekend of its release because it was hotly talked about in subreddit CShortDramas. This is another version of Cao Sai Ya - Chen Ming Hao drama but I watched this version first. I enjoyed this version but I must say that Cao Sai Ya & Chen Ming Hao was a better couple - I enjoy their lovey dovey scenes so much more.

What I liked:
1. Romance - Good mix of sweet & spicy. Spicy start to their relationship.
2. FL characterisation - Emotionally strong. Never allowed anyone to bully her.
3. ML characterisation - I liked his protectiveness. I also liked that he prioritised FL in his life.
4. Zhou Ting Yi - He was captivating on screen. I got it why FL stayed with him in a secret relationship for four years.
5. Supporting characters - I really liked ML's grandpa. I also liked ML's friend who was also an ally to FL (he was the jewellery designer).
6. Grovelling - This was my second time in 12 hours that I watched SML on bended knees begging for forgiveness.

What I disliked:
1. Antagonist - He treated FL badly. He was egoistic & condescending. He did not deserve FL.
2. Rich brat - The girl who wanted to marry ML & was mean. I was glad no one from Shen family bought her antics.

Feels like watching common Idol Drama

I watched this after Wang Nan and Chen Minghao version. Although i quite like Zeng Hui-Han Yutong as actor and CP, but compare to previous drama i mentioned, I feel like watching idol dramas since Tinghuadao loves to minimize melodramatic effect to appeal general public. If you follow the CP drama, you will know their recent drama was generic; male chases female with strong FL and flirty ML, nothing innovative comes with this CP.

FL's character is a significant improvement; she's much stronger and less prone to abuse. Her ability to fight back and save herself in dangerous situations is much better than in the previous version. However, this change also reduces the dramatic tension making this drama lack of depth. Virginity parts were removed which is good choice.

Zhao Tingyi's acting is really good, with strong explosive power and rich emotional expression. I hope he can collaborate with Han Yutong in proper romance drama (I know the drama starts both of them but i think his character was questionable one on there).

Overall, the cast is strong, and the costumes, makeup, and filters are all good. It fails to make me amazed because the script is mediocre lack of emotion depth.

Only for hardcore fans.

FL & ML: Confesso que desde que os atores Han Yu Tong & Zeng Hui começaram a namorar, tenho assistido cada vez menos dramas dos dois juntos, porque acho extremamente exaustivo ver sempre o mesmo CP, assim como outros atores que namoram. Gosto muito mais da atuação da atriz Han Yu Tong contracenando com outros atores, e o mesmo para o Zeng Hui.
"Zhan You Qiang Wei" (a primeira versão) tem um desenvolvimento amoroso mais gostoso de acompanhar.

ML: O ator sempre faz personagens que tenham uma postura um pouco mais intimidadora por mais que seja protetor, mas também sabe fazer o olhar de cachorrinho muito bem kkkkk Gostei do seu figurino.
FL: Algumas mudanças também não ficaram tão agradáveis, a maneira que a FL afirma querer apenas sexo com o ML e ao ter procurado o ex para ajudá-la em relação ao pai.

Drama: Não gostei muito do desenvolvimento desta versão, é bem mais curta (1h58), mas isso não impediria de fazer algo melhor. E acho impressionante como a FL "desmaia" e simplesmente acorda assim que o ML a pega no colo kkkkk
