A silly premise and rough around the edges but ultimately addictive good time.
This was really really goofy and requires huge suspense of disbelief but once you are willing to go along with the premise (and you will) there is alot of fun to be had.Saito Kyoko did a good job of acting as an older woman in a young woman's body. I've never seen her in anything before and really enjoyed her in this. She's very intense but did have this air of maturity about her fitting for the role. Mizuno Miki was absolutely wonderful and had me practically in tears in the first episode. I've seen her in her younger days but I was very impressed here. She become a wonderful actress and should be getting bigger roles than she does now.
Unfortunately, the rest of the cast were doing a very different kind of acting which sort of lead to the drama feeling tonally mismatched at times. The villains were all rather ridiculous and hammy. It kind of worked but then the two leads would be giving realism and intense emotions. One minute Mizuno Miki is heart wrenching the next minute you're cringe laughing at Shinkawa Yua's villainous character. It makes you wonder which vibe the show was going for as it flip flops from sleazy ott drama to intense melodrama.
Oh and aside, I thought Shiroiwa Ruki was pretty awful. Stiff wooden acting and just a general drip. Very miscast and shown up frequently by the female leads.
The ride was really fun though and each episode was largely episodic and never felt too bloated. It seemed to just sort of fizzle away at the end and seemed to want to commit staying sort of neutral. Satisfying, yes? Memorable, probably not. But as a short-form format drama of just 20 minutes its a really easy watch and had enough highs to make me look forward to each weeks new episode. A rough around the edges but ultimately good time. My score is in a vacuum of the short form extreme revenge drama style shows. Don't be expecting anything profound here, but within its own niche its a good one.

A mother can do anything for her daughter
Let's speak about the story first. What I can say ?It's very similar to thirteen Reasons why . The story starting with a suicide but we don't know what is the real reason of the Suicide of Yuna. That why the story is very interesting because everything look so simple but in fact it's not simple.
Now I will speak about the acting. The acting of Kanon was very good. I really hated Hojo Aya, The character played by Kanon. (I don't know any actress and actors in this show). I think it very difficult to watch the show and don't hate the character.
The Music was not extraordinary just normal.
And don't think this drama is good to rewatch because the best point of the drama is the plot and the suspens but if you know the plot, perhaps, this is not so interesting

Makjang Japanese Drama
Another birth of Japanese makjang drama with a combination of these kdrama Sky Castle, Penthouse, High Class, Love in Sadness and the woman who swallowed the sunThis drama have the elements of makjang such as birth secrets, plastic surgery, affair / adultery , picaresque, secrets, revenge and hatred
Sky castle & high class - mothers and the children
Penthouse - Shindo Saori and Shindo Mikihisa very similar to Cheon Seo Jin and Joo Dantae because they're evil couple known for trampling other people
Love in Sadness - Reiko have plastic surgery to live as a different person under different identity
The woman who swallowed the son- Reiko is similar to Lucia Jung whose daughter died by the hands of the enemy and proceeds to revenge and take down the enemy.
Summarization of the story
Reiko has a happy family but ended up in tragic demise because of her daughter's death. Reiko thought the reason her daughter died is her mommy friends because out of jealousy. Reiko had plastic surgery with the help of that blonde haired guy and he assists her with revenge. Reiko with her new face and persona she have unfolds secrets and the reason behind the death of her daughter. She bravely faced the enemies-> Mikihisa, Aya, Saori. The most thrilling of all when Reiko's real identity being exposed by Saori. However, the best thing there is that the former friend of the enemy -> Aya was one of the person who bullied her daughter have sided with her. In the end Saori and Mikihisa was exposed with their evil deeds and ends up in demise. Reiko finds out that her daughter didn't commit suicide but she saved her son, Keita from dying.
Character and their acting skills
Mizuno Miki / Saito kyoko as Reiko
Mizuno Miki's acting skills is a top notched I used to watch her drama in Ubai Ai Manatsu wherein she acted as the mother of Manatsu - who is a cool mom but this time she showcased a different kind of mother whose eyes filled with revenge. I want to see her act as a villain someday
Saito Kyoko is my first time seeing her acting in this drama. She is a cutie but she can still managed to give off serious face. I really want to see her more in a revenge drama but with a crying face.
Shinkawa Yua as Shindo Saori
I have already watched Shinkawa Yua's dramas in the past. She is good with protagonist and antagonist roles. However, her antagonist character gives me high blood pressure especially her role as Shindo Saori and she is good with expressions. I hope to her more in dramas.
Kanon as Hojo Aya
I have already watched her in Tensei Aijin and tate drama with Sato Taiki. Kanon's role in drama was an annoying gyaru mama who always sticks with Saori but becomes the ally of Reiko. Kanon's acting is really good but I wish she could get roles of a good girl.
