Chimoto Karina, who works at an advertising agency, is put in charge of a launch event for an adult ballet wear brand. But when the scheduled dancer becomes unavailable, she is suddenly forced to step in as a substitute because of her prior ballet experience. On that very day, shaken by this unexpected accident, Karina faces yet another shock. Futagi Yumi, whom she met in ballet class at age six and who had been her closest friend for 20 years, suddenly declares their friendship over. Yumi has fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a professional ballerina.
