My Favourite Wang Dao Tie-Zhao Jia collaboration
I watched last year and so far this is my favorite Wang Daotie-Zhao Jia works so far. The chemistry is right and they chooses the theme of drama right.This script has a fresh and interesting premise. The first half is a light comedy, the middle is sweet romance, and the later part features some redemption. There are no clichéd plots. SFL is written out early on; her early antics mostly turn into assists, while the SML is the ultimate wingman for ML and FL.
The emotional portrayal is delicate. FL's journey from initially deceiving purely for money and fearing exposure, to falling in love, to being unwilling to leave, to deep love, is portrayed very well. Applause to Zhao Jia.
Whether the true or false heiress is included in the ending is irrelevant, because regardless of FL's identity, the ML has already accepted her, which adds to the ending's perfection
The letdown is the dubbing since it's from Tinghuadao.
