Akiramemasen!

Kirishima Ikuko decides to move from her city apartment to the countryside, where her husband Mikio’s family home is, after Mikio retires from his job. After 30 years of marriage, working while raising their two daughters—who are now independent—Ikuko expected to enjoy a peaceful and comfortable second life. However, what awaited her was the web of constraints and obligations within a closed-off rural community. Amidst this, an elderly female city councilor takes an interest in her and gives her encouragement—leading Ikuko to run for a seat on the city council herself.
