Both are office romances that depict coworkers from the same department whose relationship develops over time from colleagues to lovers. In Old Fashioned Cupcake, the ML is insecure about turning 40 and despite being a respected team leader, he lost his passion to advance in the company. His junior colleague who greatly respects him and looks up to him, helps him recapture his zest for life. In “Love in the World of If,” ML is insecure about his new role as a salesman after being forced to transfer from IT. Intent on not burdening others, he works in isolation and distances himself from his colleagues, which creates misunderstandings, especially with the one colleague he cares about him. Both dramas are very healing and heartwarming!
Both bl dramas the actors look very similar but more differences then similarities but I couldn't think of a better recommendation. In melody of secrets the main character has memory loss from a tragic accident, which limits his memories on his past lover, Tankhun. He gets a mail delivery one day with a diary that was once his. Tankhun and him meet up and find a body. Melody of secrets is really interesting so far but I'm not sure how they are going to end it.
They have completely different plots and vibes, but in both of them the protagonist travels to a different world and learns how to love himself and changes little by little. Love begins in the world of if is about a man who travels to an ideal for him parallel world, because of a wish. On the other hand love for love's sake is about a 30 years old man that goes into the world of a novel that is feels more like a video game and becomes a teenager student again. They both try to adapt to the new world, while both of them keep their identity of the real world. And as time progresses they slowly discover themselves and their own needs, they learn to love, to be loved, to depend on others and to accept help from others
