What a Feast Episode 9

Ying Mei befriends Mei Xiang, an elderly Hakka woman, praising her kumquat jam. Guandu Xiangji Restaurant is about to relocate, and Hui Mei tries her best to recruit volunteers, but is still ridiculed by Chen Que. Finally, she musters the courage to express her feelings to her mother-in-law. Ying Mei discovers that Mei Xiang's life is full of contradictions. While he boasts about his successful children and wealthy family, he can't even afford health insurance and has accumulated a large debt, leading Ying Mei to suspect there's more to the story.
