Both have a badass FML who can absolutely throw hands, a female lead disguising herself as a man, and that whole “wait… why am I starting to catch feelings for someone I think is a guy?” situation. You’ve got the protective ML, chaotic situations, secret identities, hilarious misunderstandings, and that slow-burn chemistry that makes you want to scream at the screen. Obviously, the stories aren’t exactly the same, but if you enjoyed the gender disguise, badass FML n chaotic romance vibe, Bromance definitely gives you that same feeling.
Female disguises as a male, there is more to the plot than meets the eye. There is also a healthy amount of comedy. Both male leads have high status in society, altho in different time settings. Each male lead is caring and playful in their own way. Female leads play roles that are also complimentary to the status of the male leads. They assist in multiple ways, and eventually, they also learn to protect the one the love.
