The way he shields Niran's heart proves that no matter what kind of storm Niran is facing, Cheewa will always be there pulling him back to Earth like his own personal gravity. And that final piggyback ride and kiss.Thank goodness for the friend group! Their hilariously nosy antics, panicky over-protectiveness, and chaotic energy offer the perfect comedic relief, breaking up the intense family angst with pure laugh-out-loud moments.

The Light That Slowly Reaches Him

“ My father’s dream isn’t my dream.” Niran’s words stayed with me throughout Episode 8. Judo was tied to those rare moments when his parents celebrated together, so admitting that he no longer wants it means confronting much more than his future career.I appreciated his teacher listening carefully and his mother’s fiancé reassuring him that he had not been abandoned. Being a teenager does not make the hurt caused by family conflict disappear.This episode also helped me understand why Niran finds love difficult to trust. Chiwa’s gentle, persistent affection is slowly reaching a heart that has learned to protect itself.Like light travelling an immense distance from a star, love takes time to arrive. That image captures what makes this series so moving to me.
