The maniac review
You Maniac isn't just a drama; it's an experience! ❤️🔥From Dean's shameless flirting to Moth's stubborn resistance, every interaction between them brings a different kind of excitement. What starts as a game slowly becomes a complicated journey of emotions, and that's what makes their relationship so captivating. WilliamEst's chemistry adds another dimension to the story, making even their smallest interactions memorable.
I especially love how different Dean and Moth are and how their differences create both conflict and attraction. They're frustrating, unpredictable, and sometimes impossible to understand, but that's precisely why I want to keep watching.
This series has its flaws, but the chemistry, character dynamics, and emotional possibilities make it worth following. I'm excited to see how their relationship develops and whether they'll finally understand what they're feeling.
WilliamEst, DeanMoth, and this beautiful chaos have officially taken over my heart! 🦋❤️🔥

REDFLAGS DOESN'T MEAN VIOLENCE
Story is really good and mature...it's not a typical story of redflags where leads either manipulate or cheats..the story tells about two adults who are complicated and it really portrays the reality...and I love the actors, they nailed acting of their character they really made me happy, sad and excited with their characters...people who wants to know how reality works can watch this series and related to characters.. everyone once in their life can relate to the characters situations and how they are behaving. Was this review helpful to you?
This is the show I was waiting for!!
This is an incredible show headlined by two actors with undeniable passion and undeniable chemistry. The show focuses mainly on the emotions of the cast and weaves a story that is hard to ignore. WilliamEst are at their best in the soft moments and you can clearly see their commitment and love come through the episodes. I also love the communication between them when things seem to be going awry. This is a huge issue that present maturity within a show.Honorable mention for Barcode and Kim who fit seamlessly within the cast.
I hope WilliamEst are proud of the work they did here as they clearly outdid themselves.

DeanMoth's complexity centers this show.
You Maniac gave the complexity in life. It is not a spoon fed program where people can get the characters' altitudes in one watch. I like how they give the viewers a chance to think thoroughly and observe the hidden meanings behind each episodes. This show shows that Dean and Moth are two complex characters, in which they have these characteristics they developed because of self-issues that are to be solved. Was this review helpful to you?
Fun and thought provoking at the same time!!!
So far You Maniac has turned out to be much more than a chaotic romance and very different from the typical “BL red flag”. What I enjoy most is how it explores two people who struggle with relationships in very different ways. Dean may seem confident, playful, and comfortable around people, but underneath that persona is someone who can be surprisingly lonely and insecure. Moth, on the other hand, is guarded, judgmental, and often struggles to understand and communicate his own feelings.I love how their relationship develops through small gestures, unspoken feelings, and moments of vulnerability rather than grand declarations. The show also does a great job of using visual storytelling to reveal what the characters cannot quite put into words and editing to show relationship pace.
The supporting characters add to the story without taking away from the central relationship, while Mes (the 1st love )introduces an interesting conflict around Moth’s identity, artistic worth, and personal choices.
What makes this series compelling for me is that neither Dean nor Moth has everything figured out. They are learning about themselves and each other as they go, and their growth feels just as important as their romance. William and Est have also made their characters’ contrasting personalities and emotional shifts enjoyable to watch and the production and cinematography in the show is very well done.
I’m invested in these characters and curious to see where their growth takes them. This is a series for those who enjoy series with human realism and the mess that comes with it and makes you reflect on your own early 20s experiences.

Must watch
It's been so long since I've watched a bl series that managed to keep me on my toes every ep. and honestly it's a must watch if you love character driven plots along with good chemistry and acting. There is also the fact that it's a red flag × red flag trope that shows us how real the characters are portrayed and how sometimes we can see ourselves in them (idk if I'm making sense but helpp the way I could understand both Moth and Dean's pov because some of their behaviours seemed a little bit too relatable for me so I was the one defending their actions whenever my sisters got mad at either of them T^T
Anyways overall this series is really interesting and progressing so beautifully so just came here to leave my review.

A romance story that's relatable
A fast-paced and beautiful drama that anyone in modern dating can relate to. Love today is not smooth and simple. but Dean and Moth's story captures the real highs and lows effortlessly. If you have ever put yourself out there, you will appreciate and truly enjoy every single episode of this series. Was this review helpful to you?
A breath of fresh air
The seires is very relatable, especially to young adults. This series was just advertised wrongly. This series is not about two red flags fighting with each other it's two adults who had to change themselves into people they are not. It's about two people who put aside their red flag coping mechanism to learn to love each other. I think its a very down to earth story which may not be suited to all but if you plan on watching it, do so with an open mind. Was this review helpful to you?
One of the all-time best series produced by GMMTV.
Complex, layered, deeply human characters and a storyline that feels as though it has been taken straight from real life. The production is outstanding, with incredible attention to detail in every aspect — the colours, framing, cinematography, and the way the story is told all make the experience even more immersive and captivating. The acting is so natural and convincing that it genuinely feels like you’re watching the lives of people you know, real people rather than fictional characters. Every emotion, every interaction, every little detail feels authentic.
Realism at its finest. A truly exceptional series that stays with you long after you’ve finished watching.

You Maniac is the kind of series that becomes more interesting the deeper you get into its story.
You Maniac is the kind of series that becomes more interesting the deeper you get into its story. What makes it stand out is not just the relationships or the chemistry between the characters, but how human, flawed, and complicated they are. These aren't perfect characters who always make the right choices or understand their feelings immediately. They have insecurities, conflicting emotions, personal struggles, and moments when they don't even fully understand themselves. And that's what makes them feel so real.Moth is such an interesting character to follow because of his inner conflicts. Watching him navigate his emotions, question his relationships, and struggle to understand what he truly wants makes his journey feel incredibly human. Sometimes he pushes people away, sometimes he struggles to recognize his own worth, and sometimes he finds himself caught between what others tell him and what he feels deep inside. His journey isn't straightforward, and that's precisely what makes it compelling. Real people don't always have everything figured out, dean and Moth reflects that beautifully.
One of the most fascinating aspects of the series is the contrast between the people surrounding Dean Moth. While some undermine his talent and manipulate his insecurities, others encourage him, believe in him, and see parts of him that he struggles to recognize himself. The way the series explores these different dynamics makes you think about how much the people around us can influence our perception of ourselves. Sometimes, being truly seen and understood by another person can make all the difference.
William and Est bring their characters to life with performances that make their emotions and interactions feel believable. Their chemistry is captivating, but what makes it even more special is the emotional depth behind it. It's in the little expressions, the subtle changes in their voices, the unspoken feelings, and the moments when their characters reveal more than they intend to. Their performances make you want to understand these characters rather than simply watch what happens to them.
What I particularly appreciate about You Maniac is that it gives viewers plenty to discuss and interpret. Different characters have different perspectives, and not every conversation comes with an obvious answer. Their choices can be questioned, their intentions can be debated, and their relationships can be understood in different ways. The story encourages you to look beyond the surface and consider why people behave the way they do. It doesn't have to make every character completely right or wrong for their stories to be worth exploring.
The storytelling keeps becoming more intriguing as the episodes progress. Small conversations, complicated emotions, and seemingly insignificant moments can reveal something important about a character or their relationships. It makes you pay attention, think about what you've watched, and look forward to discovering what happens next. Rather than relying solely on dramatic moments, the series builds interest through its characters and the emotional layers of their stories.
Ultimately, You Maniac is a story about people who are still figuring themselves out, about the difference between being wanted and being understood, and about how relationships can influence the way we see ourselves. Its characters aren't perfect, and their decisions won't always please everyone, but that imperfection is part of what makes them human.
If you enjoy character-driven stories, complicated relationships, emotional depth, and performances that make you genuinely invested in the people on screen, You Maniac deserves a chance. Don't let other people's opinions decide your experience before you've even watched it. Give the story an opportunity to unfold, get to know the characters for yourself, and decide what they mean to you.
You Maniac is more than a story about relationships; it's a story about understanding people, including the parts of themselves they haven't figured out yet. And sometimes, the most interesting stories are the ones that leave you thinking long after the episode ends.
