Simple answer yess you can watch it for sure! From the 2 episodes i have seen the story is quite fast moving wihtout any unnecessary scenes. Every scene you see relates to somewhere. To be honest chinese bls are leading the bl industry right one. May be one at a time but surely very effective ones..coming to sammy's childrens day may be the first ever introvert but not innocent chinese bl top and a crazy power bottom..there are hints of cute moments in the first two eps itself...TRY IT YOU WON'T REGRET!Was this review helpful to you?

And of course… the chemistry between the leads? INSANE. Top-tier doesn’t even begin to describe it. Every glance, every interaction feels natural. They don’t just act like they’re in love, you believe it. It's deserves all the attention it’s getting

Biggest selling point - bratty older shou X soft younger gong (even though they switch in the novel) Definition of grumpy x sunshine.New C-bls have officially redeemed themselves. More of this please.
Technical wise, it is good- cinematography, lighting, set design, colour grading & everything looks nice. The time period is supposed to be the 80's & the styling is spot on. The making is very stylized & light and dreamy, it adds spectacularly to the romantic interaction scenes of the leads. Mostly follows the novel & that works in favour. The ending was okay as a season finale but if there is no more seasons, it was abrupt and unsatisfying. The is a lot of plot holes left that can only be completed by the rest of the story.
The ML is the definition of tall, dark & handsome. I like that the makeup department kept it like that. Also the injuries look mostly authentic & not like smeared red paint. The MC is an absolute green flag. I love them both as characters& the actor's chemistry is off the charts. They are both down badism final bosses & we only got to see a glimpse of that. I really hope there is more because them as a couple was an absolute joy to read.
And my favourite; Lu GuangMing- the professional rage baiter. The second couple also have great dynamics.
The screenplay could use some work, the first episode was a little boring, but it picks up the pace after. The acting is good. The dubbing is off, which makes it look weird. Nevertheless this show is a must watch.

First came a kick and then came love
I haven’t felt this good watching a show in a while, I get a dopamine surge every time I tune in. Like it doesn’t feel like work to watch it, the time just flies by.Lol why are people complaining about dubbing? Hello this is a HK/CHN series, which CHN BL hasn’t had any dubbing? I love my self a good enemies to lovers and this is giving that and more. There is a decent plot too, give this show a chance, I am 2 episodes in and I thoroughly enjoy it.

Eu gostei muito do enredo da história, e da química dos atores que é absurda. Amei todos os episódios, apesar que com esse final deixou muita gente dividida porém eu gostei sabe, uma vibe meio realista meio melancólica, obviamenteee preferia que ele não fosse preso, mas como desde o início dar a entender que estão investigando sobre as gangues não achei sem sentido. Meu sonho segunda temporada. Porém aff poderia só ter mais episódios, não tenho o que reclamar.Eu acredito porém, que poderia ter entrado mais no desenvolvimento do casal secundário, no final a gente ainda descobre um plot sobre o personagem do irmão dele, a única coisa chata é que são poucos episódios com pouca duração 😭😭😭, pq eu acredito que poderia ter tido até um episódio único sobre o casal secundário pra a gente conseguir entender mais da dinâmica deles.

This series is unexpectedly good. From the very beginning, I could already sense that this one is going to be something distinctive. The plot feels completely new to me, and the visuals are absolutely stunning. Another Chinese BL that might turn out to be a really good one.Sometimes something fresh comes along and raises the bar higher. The dynamic between a gangster and a university student already feels intriguing, and I’m really curious to see how their chemistry unfolds over time. Since it’s only episode one, I won’t say much yet—but this one definitely caught my attention.
But if you’re wondering whether to watch it or not, then my honest answer is a big YES. Just leave everything else aside and give it a try. Let’s be honest—we’re not the kind of audience who only watches so-called masterpiece dramas all the time. Sometimes it’s simply about enjoying the journey. So why not try unfolding their story together?

Bellissimo
Drama BLbellissimo cinese ma girato nelle vie del Hong Kong 🇭🇰 . Nonostante sia stato fatto a basso budget e’ stato bellissimo in tutto … scene ambientazioni fotografie e colori tutto bellissimo!!
E anche sentire una lingua cinese diversa … Peccato per il doppiaggio delle voci non sempre sincronizzate.
Non sono mancate leggerezze e ironia , come le scene di vita dure e crude e di protezione, rispetto e romanticismo.
Musiche Ost bellissime .
Tutto il cast è stato bravissimo nel recitare il proprio ruolo .
Da applausi 👏🏻 dalla prima puntata all’ultima sono stati i due protagonisti davvero emozionanti, bellissimi insieme , e grande chimica.

Il loro bacio finale è stato un momento emozionante recitato meravigliosamente e con le faccie del entrambi sanguinanti … che dolcezza .. un momento sofferto atteso e davvero che porterò nel cuore 💔.
Mi auguro tanto successo per questo drama perché se lo merita tutto . Voto 10 . 👏🏻

vamos nas opiniões, visto que esse me lembrou muito o estilo do bromance Justice in the dark, já comecei amando logo aí , ganhou meu coração. A história me pegou de um jeito, gostei de tudo, foi realmente um BL que me prendeu desde o começo, estou agradecida por terem feito esse drama. A Trama é boa, a atuação, a música. Amei de quase tudo. Não sou de escrever resenhas tão animada, estava com falta disso, dessa dopamina. Realmente indico, mas claro algum público não vai gostar tanto assim e isso é totalmente normal, mas eu adorei, amei e tudo para mim foi legal de se ver.realmente irei repetir e olharei novamente.

L'usurpation du mafieux…
En m'attardant sur les autres avis, j'ai vraiment l'impression d'avoir vu une série totalement différente.Lorsqu'on me parle de mafia, c'est tout naturellement que j'attends de la tension, des situations périlleuses et tendues et surtout du danger. À la place, je me retrouve à regarder un « homme de main impitoyable » danser dans une piaule, une pelle à tarte à la main, avant de prendre des poses devant le miroir comme s'il allait à la prochaine Fashion Week… Je suis d'accord pour fermer les yeux de temps en temps, mais remettons l'église au centre du village : c'est un mafieux ! Pas une adolescente en émoi devant son premier crush.
La série collectionne les scènes absurdes (lorsqu'elles ne sont pas ridicules), tandis que le meilleur baiser n'est qu'un rêve. Il y a de bonnes idées, mais ça ne fonctionne pas vraiment. Quelques scènes de combat valent la peine, cependant, rien qui permette d'oublier tout le reste.
Le doublage est terrible. La plupart des acteurs sont à peine passables et, bon sang, qui a eu la brillante idée de mettre le baromètre de frustration au maximum pour le couple secondaire ? Leur relation (tant professionnelle que personnelle) peut prendre le dessus sans trop forcer. La fin ouverte suppose une seconde saison centrée sur ce couple. Une telle dynamique est bien trop plaisante pour être ignorée, ma curiosité l'emportera sans aucun doute. Sans eux, je n'aurais sûrement pas terminé ce drama.
En bref, Sammy's Children's Day est un drama au titre aléatoire qui manque de dangers, de tensions et d'ambiance. Si le couple principal est un échec, le second mérite clairement une suite.

Bella atmosfera anche se limitata dal poco budget
BL molto carino ma con alcune problematiche secondo me.Voglio iniziare dalle cose positive:
- L'ambientazione, Kowloon anni 80 e ho detto tutto. Molto interessante e affascinante, peccato però che si noti il limite del poco budget e quindi non si vede molto su questa ricostruzione di Kowloon, ma dà comunque quel plus di fascino alla storia.
- Gang criminali e poliziotti, questi temi mi intrigano sempre molto e vedere un bl con contorno queste dinamiche è bello (visto che c'è ne sono pochi). In più bella la dinamica dei due protagonisti uno studioso e l'altro in mezzo a queste gang con una vita diversa.
Ho apprezzato anche la seconda coppia anche se di fatto si vede poco e di conseguenza non ho un'opinione definitiva.
Infatti purtroppo 9 episodi sono veramente pochi per sviluppare tutto quello che hanno inserito e si necessita per forza di una seconda stagione, cosa che non mi fa impazzire e spero che esca presto. Devo dire però, che la seconda coppia ad un certo punto mi ha intrigato e incuriosito molto di più della prima coppia.
Cose che non ho amato molto sono ad esempio gli errori tecnici come l'audio o meglio il doppiaggio che è orribile e rovinano tantissimo il drama, ti smorza tante scene emotive etc. Mentre la coppia principale l'ho trovata carina ma poco approfondita (così come altre cose in realtà) e a volte velocizzata ma allo stesso tempo lenta in alcuni punti, secondo me non hanno gestito benissimo i tempi. Mi risulta forzato questo innamoramento come e quando è accaduto, non so come spiegarlo meglio. Anche le caratterizzazioni le ho trovate molto basilari.
Insomma secondo me è un drama che è stato molto influenzato dal poco budget e poco tempo per sviluppare una serie di cose, del resto so che la novel è molto lunga.
In conclusione è molto carino e secondo me vale la pena di vederlo soprattutto se si è amanti del genere, bisogna diciamo non avere troppe pretese.

From the very first episode, the series pulls you into its gritty yet strangely nostalgic world, where gang violence and corruption constantly lurk beneath the surface. The cinematography, atmosphere, and production design are exceptional, often making the drama feel more like a beautifully shot Hong Kong crime film than a traditional romance series.The heart of the show lies in the relationship between Xia Liu Yi and He Chu San. Their dynamic is captivating trom start to finish, with one being impulsive and dangerous while the other remains calm, intelligent, and quietly calculating. The chemistry between the leads feels natural, and both actors deliver performances filled with subtle emotions, making even the smallest moments meaningful.
What impressed me most was how much story, character development, and emotional depth the series managed to fit into only nine episodes. Despite the fast pacing, the romance never feels forced, and the supporting cast adds plenty of charm to the overall experience.
My biggest issue is the ending. While emotionally satisfying in some ways, it leaves several important questions unanswered. We never learn the full truth behind Liu Yi's sister and brother-in-law's deaths, nor do we discover who his brother-in-law truly loved, which seems central to the tragedy. These unresolved mysteries make the finale feel incomplete and somewhat frustrating after becoming so invested in the story.
Even with its flaws, Sammy's Children's Day stands out as a memorable and beautifully crafted drama. Its atmosphere, performances, and unconventional romance are strong enough to outweigh the confusing ending, making it an easy recommendation for anyone looking for something different from the usual romance series.

Cómo van a terminar la serie de esa manera?? Están todos locos?!
¡¡¡Voy a tener que encerrar a los guionistas y obligarlos a continuar está historia a punta de pistola!!!He Chusan realmente se enamoró de quién menos esperaba pero siempre trató de estar ahí para LiuYi aunque esté era infumable y siempre apartandolo cuando era más que obvio él sentimiento que tenía Chusan a LiuYi. Pero aún así todos sabían sobre su relación aunque quisieran negarla, no pueden siquiera negarlo en absoluto 🤭 se aman, solo que LiuYi es muy cerrado y Chusan es a la primera persona que ama, siempre se alguna forma sus caminos terminan juntos, es el destino 💕.
La historia del inspector Xie y Guangmin, ohhh queridos, estuvieron poco tiempo en pantalla pero devoraron cada segundo sobre todo Lu (hermoso si Xie no te quiere yo si 💋) pero realmente ellos dos son tan opuestos con deseos totalmente distintos en el tema de porque ir detrás de la triada, uno solo quiere hacer las cosas bien, el otro quiere acabar con todos.
