I was eager to watch Xie Yuwang and Lu Lulu second collaboration. I enjoyed their First collaboration and waiting for that long turns out it wasn't that much to wait.The Plot is very 2023 coded. FL love ML twins. She make love with 'ML Twins' until get pregnant and they supposed to be married. ML Twins died in accident left FL being discarded by ML family since ML twins was being favored. ML turn to be Messiah by marrying FL which is make ML mother angrier. But when they get married ML left abroad alone leaving FL and she bore alone without anyone.
The Chemistry was left since Xie Yuwang knows how to kisses. FL characterization is inconsistent being doctor without logic and too dependent while ML mother and FL Family mistreating her. ML mother is pissed me of and she didn't get any character redemption. Couple lack of communication is sole problem since ML just left FL after they getting married so it's logic when he come back she want divorce, What do you expect, to wait like a nun?
The ending is trying to make open ending but somehow they force to Happy ending, duh.
Only to recommended for each artist fans.

Letdown by doormat FL and lack of communication between the couple
I am a huge fan of Xie Yu Wang and have watched his older drama with Lu Lu Lu a few weeks ago. I was pumped when I heard about this drama because it's the second time Xie Yu Wang has paired with Lu Lu Lu. I was left disappointed by the time this drama ended.What I liked:
1. Kisses - I loved XYW's kissing scenes. When permitted, he always expresses desire & passion in his kissing scenes, including those in this drama.
2. Twin trope - I liked how this story was done even thought the overall vibe was negative. There was a refreshing twist to the twin trope.
3. Styling - I liked XYW's clothes. The most stylish outfits I had seen on him.
4. Supporting characters - I liked FL's bestie because she was rational and most of the time, smarter than FL. I also liked FL's daughter.
5. Dynamics - I enjoyed watching interactions between ML and FL's daughter.
What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - ML's mother was annoying & evil. She favoured her eldest son over younger son. She disliked her daughter-in-law that led to disliking and punishing her granddaughter. I also disliked FL's family because they were parasites. Only concerned about wealth. The green tea character was pathetic.
2. Romance - They had sex but were distant & hardly communicated. FL kept on insisting on divorce due to pressure from her in laws. She was stupid.
3. FL characterisation - She was doormat - no wonder she was easy to be bullied. She married Si Ye out of guilt / pressure but never sought partnership from the marriage.

One of the good ones, but...
Perhaps it is time for the writers to understand that these stories need to feature better-developed characters, or at least allow them to grow throughout the show. I was rather pleasantly surprised by the drama; despite some overused tropes, it unravelled nicely and with some logic, until the last two episodes. Which felt rushed and too superficially thought.What I liked:
1. First, I need to praise Wang Xie; he is expressive and knows how to act. His role was nicely built. The ML remained true to the FL throughout the entire drama, until the last moment and did whatever in his power to help her. I loved the way his role was constructed: never gave in to his mother, despised the deluded psychopathic wife wannabe and stood up for her, even if when her actions had no sense.
2. I liked the story also; it had fluency (with some hiccups). There was no rape, no extreme abuse and even the one that existed was not dragged on forever and was dealt with properly.
3. The friend of the FL seemed to be the "voice of reason" and much smarter than the FL. Who was a surgeon, but acted like an uneducated twit.
4. Even the evil mother was played very well. A petty woman with no soul who actually learns, the hard way, that everything in life has a price. Especially when you neglect your own child.
What I didn't like:
1. The obsession with the brother. I do understand that you suffer that your husband is dead, but you have a man alive and who venerates even the shadow you cast, and you hang on to something that is already gone, without even trying to give him a chance.
2. Are all surgeons so weak and borderline stupid? First, she takes abuse from her family (well, let's say that there is an ounce of understanding I can offer, as we can't choose who our parents and family are), then she lets herself be repeatedly humiliated and stepped on by a revengeful b***h of a mother-in-law who needed to find a scapegoat for an accident. WHY? Because you feel guilty and you need to self punish yourself? Then, at least, do not drag your child into it.
3. So, he gets deprived of raising his own kid, and then, when she finds out that he is her father, had a breakdown and she leaves him, together with the second child. Depriving him of some other three years of his children's lives. Then she just decides one day... well, it seems that I love him, I will go back. A weak woman who would have never been capable of becoming a surgeon. Doctors who do that kind of work have to be very strong mentally, especially women, who have to overcome a lot of obstacles until they get into their position. For me, it sounded like the writers gave her a fancy job, just for the sake of showing that women can have such a career and be weak and easy to hurt at the same time. A strange idea about women I often see in East-Asian movies.
4. the villain. I do understand the delusion and the fact that she was a psychopath. I didn't understand the power she had over that nurse. Was that one so stupid not to go and, at least, let him know about what she made her do? He had enough power to protect her mother against whatever was threatening her. Arresting her was the most unsatisfactory ending for this woman.
The drama as a whole was good, but the last two episodes had NO LOGIC. Maybe if they had tried a bit harder...
PS. Let the poor guys kiss properly, for God's sake. And maybe it is time to stop with the big eyes full of shock when someone who obviously has the hots for you starts kissing. No one does that in real life, especially those who have been through a marriage and have a child also ...

Eu gosto do plot de irmão gêmeo, mas confesso que este foi cansativo, é tanta reviravolta - por mais que seja previsível algumas coisas - e com tanta toxicidade por parte da mãe do ML e da família da FL que é revoltante.A FL, uma grande cirurgiã, por pseudo-culpa é uma frouxa e aceita todas as humilhações que a mãe do ML faz, e ele que diz tanto amá-la, simplesmente virou as costas por 5 anos para fugir de um possível divórcio sem nem se preocupar com o bem-estar dela na casa da mãe dele?
O final foi extremamente corrido e simplesmente abrupto, gostaria de vê-la chegando com os dois e não sozinha.
Gosto de ambos os atores, mas não acho que o roteiro tão dramático tenha os ajudado.
