This show is so wholesome
It's an opportunity to see some big kdrama stars, in a different light, along with some makeup and hairdressing superstars. And it's just utterly charming.I am generally not a reality TV fan but I admit I am absolutely a fan of a before and after shot...house renovations, exercise transformations, garden rehabilitations...love it! I don't actually like the idea of people feeling they need to get cosmetic surgery or procedures, but a hair and make-up makeover is so satisfying. Make the most of what you already have!
Truth be told, I do think they must have done some screening for the clients. It's an unnaturally high representation of symmetrical faces, with good dentition. But putting thst aside, it's still a pleasure to view the transformations AND to watch their family and friends faces, as they do the big reveals. So satisfying.

Didn't expect to like this as much as I did
I enjoyed watching this so much! I loved how everyone glowed after their makeovers. It was so touching to see how some of the guests re-learned how beautiful they were after the makeover. I also loved how the cast made their guests feel so welcome. It was just so fun to watch everyone do their best at what they're good at.I loved Pony even before this show so I kind of watched it for her and Min-young but I really enjoyed watching Cha Hong and LeoJ work as well. They're all just so good at their jobs!
