This drama was saved by Chen Si and Zhao Jia acting.

I watched this drama because of Chen Si. Chen Si and Zhao Jia fit their roles perfectly and i never expected them to be such a decent match. It was quite light drama but they are look too tired. The kiss was quite letdown for the level of the leads.

The plot is quite old-fashioned: a domineering, misogynistic CEO falls in love with a woman who wants a divorce. ML showers her with affection, FL endures no mistreatment, and the divorce is quick and straightforward. The cons in this drama FL has not get character development while ML was completely a plot device, only appearing when needed. Both the ML and FL were very one-dimensional which make the character depth was too shallow.

The appearance of the SML and SFL is just mindless torture. The villains are surrounded by bad guys, appearing frequently but thankfully only briefly each time, saying a few words before disappearing. There's also a scene where a rival accidentally helps fight off a nasty family member.

Worth to watch despite the flaw.

Mature characters but FL's characterisation stopped me from loving this drama

Finally this drama has a MDL page. I watched this drama within 48 hours of its release because I heard positive reviews about this drama from subreddit CShortDramas. I liked but didn't love this drama.

What I liked:
1. Romance - They had one night stand & ML was smitten by her after their encounter. I liked that they were affectionate.
2. Styling - The ice blue dress was gorgeous. Chen Si looked good too.
3. ML characterisation - He was love brained. I understood his need to pursue FL because of his medical condition.
4. Supporting characters - I liked ML's assistant.
5. Hidden identity - I liked that his identity was revealed immediately after one-night stand.
6. Live stream - i liked the grape session.

What I disliked:
1. Antagonists - FL's soon-to-be hubby was a scumbag. The mother was mean too. FL's aunt was selfish. I also disliked ML's mother for being nasty & ungrateful.
2. Cheating - I am not a fan of main character sleeping with other people while in a relationship / a marriage. I wish she had gotten her divorce certificate before the one night stand.
3. FL characterisation - I was annoyed that FL treated ML as her sugar daddy / boss after her divorce. I also found their relationship lacked depth because she was money minded.

Favourite scene
FL coaxing a sulking ML

Sexy and funny

This was a great one, had a lot of funny moments in the story and loved how he protected her and she also protected herself. From scumbag husband who was cheating.
The lines were so funny in this, especially the assitants that kept come in at the wrong time. Were
The outfits were beautiful that she wore and chen si was dressed as sexy self again.
I've watched this multipletimes and they were both so funny and sexy together. recommend highly.

??Wei Ta Shi Tu(The Deal of Love) : Peak Acting, Peak Chaos, Peak Entertainment ??

went into Wei Ta Shi Tu thinking I’d just “another VDRAMA let me give it a gobecause i like both Main Lead however from the very first scene I was emotionally invested in everyone’s life choices 😂🔥

The story is dramatic in the best way — twists, tension, scheming, and those delicious “WAIT WHAT?!” moments. But honestly, the real magic is the main leads.

Zhang Linghe absolutely ate his role 😭🔥
Wang Churan matched him scene for scene with that perfect mix of elegance, chaos, and emotional punch 💖
The Main Leads chemistry was Electric. Chaotic. Addictive. I was giggling, gasping, and occasionally yelling at my screen like a clown 🤡✨

The visuals are gorgeous, the pacing is smooth, and the acting is way better than I expected for a Vertical Drama. Over all this drama was Fun, dramatic, beautifully acted, and dangerously bingeable.
If you love strong leads, sharp tension, and a sprinkle of unhinged energy, this drama is calling your name 📣🔥
