Sigh
You will wonder why this was made:1. Ambitious project for the short form genre
2. Unique for the format
3. Actors with fair skills
4. Ep 1 and 8.
Then there are the reasons why it should have cooked a little longer before being served:
1. Limited budget showed.
2. Sang Min/Minu's only two facial expressions. He did much better in Why R U, Please Teach Me and Love In Protocol.
3. Whatever the 'kissing' was.
4. Minu and Lucifer romance felt contrived.
5. Never felt the gravity of the situation. Came across as something to be viewed for the unintentional humor, cringe, audacity.
6. The knife in ep 8. This one is personal: felt out of place for a urban killing. Probably in the woods with a bear somewhere but for a vampire, hmmm.
7. The script wasn’t bad per se but very very generic.
8. The fight scene.... double sigh
I do think that for the moments it worked, it should be watched.

Good chemistry, weak storyline that had potential to be better
There really was sufficient material here to make this way more interesting. And it started much stronger than it finished. I liked the mains and I'm a sucker for a vampire story. (Yeah, I went there.) The story didn't explore many things that could have made it more satisfying. More about their individual histories. More about the conflict with the brother. More about vampire v non-vampire issues. And they took time (precious time in a short format like this) to do things that didnt really advance the plot. Its actually harder to make a short format piece, imho, because you have to be really efficient with the time you have. No filler at all.It was cute. I'm not mad that I took time to watch it.

tbh? wasted potential
when i watched ep 1 i was excited, the trailer looked interesting then also the first episode, but then the further i watch the more i lowky dont know what happened, it went from "this look interesting" to "i dont care anymore".... id say the plot isnt interesting and it feels like you arent watching anything, simply too much generic/bland. as its a very short bl (10 mins per ep) im not really surprised...for now still there is no vampire bl done right so im waiting for them to make a good vampire bl hopefully soon

It lacked depth
The story was ok, but there was a lot things missing about it, most of all in the last episode.Biting sound at the end of ep. 1 was done so bad!
I don't get what it is with Lee Sang Min but i kind of have a hate/love feeling about him. He has drama's where his acting is good like in Why R U, but most drama's he doesn't do so well. And his kissing is really bad!
The other main did a good job.
It's worth the watch, but don't expect too much of it.

this is the skin of someone with jaundice, bella
it is i, the niel.i have no idea what i just watched. kind of perfect??? objectively, this show is bad in every way, but it's so entertaining. the low-budget flop that it was made the experience enjoyable. the episodes were incredibly short, so it was very easy to get through. nothing really happened plot-wise. i was kind of confused.
the acting wasn't bad, it was just funny. i appreciated that the actors were giving their all for a script that was nothing. i also liked the vampire's facial expressions. he had some really goofy moments. shoutout to my favourite uncredited character, the foundation-caked turtleneck.
the amount of ai used, foul. some scenes were ai-generated, music was ai-generated, and visuals were ai-generated. i understand you all had no budget, but oof. in no world was this worth the water it used. sheesh!
best,
the niel.

lacking a bit but still shirt and cute
The story and premise of the show had potential, and I found myself genuinely enjoying it at points. But Jjust as I started to form a connection with the characters, however, the show came to an end. It felt like there was so much more to explore,in the characters and around them if that makes sense. Also,, I believe that if the episodes had been longer and the production budget slightly higher, they could have effectively concluded in at least 10 to 12 episodes to get that part extra in.
Although the series brought a smile to my face and featured adorably sweet moments, there were parts that I struggled to get a connectiuon to—something about it felt off. It seemed like there was a noticeable void or lack of substance in the storyline. Ultimately, I didn’t feel compelled enough to wait for all the episodes to air or to binge watch it, as there wasn’t enough plot development to keep me fully engaged from start to finish.

healed my vampire BL trauma
Overall: finally a vampire BL that was not a comedy (at least not intentionally) and had a solid ending. I gave this an indie rating bump. 8 episodes about 10 minutes each. Aired on Love Memory's YouTube channel https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwW9ZsuS2Fna5mZ_YiEKYIY3NukytYJHF&si=kWJI2s3lm5doc8QTContent Warnings: blood, injury, violence, kidnapping, attempted murder
What I Liked
- premise
- visuals
- at least the world building dump was slightly better than is typical
- what happened at the end of episode 1
Room For Improvement
- not enough screen time to do the story justice, maybe should have just focused on the leads and developed their romance more
- that chomp sound in episode 1
- the fight in episode 8
- cringe parts
