Overall: this is an over the top vertical series and I judged it based on vertical series of a similar style. Aired on iQIYI app, 1-6 free, 50 total episodes around 2 minutes each

What I Liked
- the dad
- apologized for what his family did
- admitted it, didn't try the noble idiot trope
- helped each other
- I did laugh a few times

- "I'm supposed to be the top" and doing it when being drugged was involved

I’ve seen a lot of terrible shorts series, and I usually make it through because they’re relatively short, but I really could not sit through this one. Yes, you’ve got the usual cheesy dialogue, crappy editing, and bad acting, but there there was nothing entertaining or sweet to make up for it. It was just straight up boring.

The characters kept monologuing loudly to themselves in public as a way to give information to the audience or so that someone could conveniently overhear them. The fake fighting was so unconvincing. Like you could very clearly see that they weren’t actually hitting each other. Every problem was solved through mafia-son-nepotism. The kisses were proper kisses, but the actors had no chemistry so it didn’t matter.

Plenty of your usual consent / boundary issues too. Grabbing to prevent them from leaving, pinning each other down violently, and trying to hit each other. Plenty of sexual harassment. James makes Push come in when he’s showering twice, both times getting in his space naked while Push is clearly uncomfortable. He forces him into the shower and gets him wet, makes him wash his hair, tries to make him shower with him, and tries to take off his pants despite repeated “no”s and being physically pushed away. He invites Push to join him in bed in a sexually suggestive way when Push has no choice other than to sleep in the same bed with him. He pretends to be asleep and cuddles Push. He hugs Push from behind and refuses to let go when he says to and is struggling. He non-consensually touches Push and kisses his cheek. And Push tries to kiss James while he thinks he’s in a coma (James was only pretending to be in a coma, but I have no clue why).

The couple was boring, the plot was boring, I wasn’t getting any sweet romantic moments, and everything about the production quality was so jarringly bad. Normally I say go for these short series if you’re bored and can’t find anything better, but I’d say this one isn’t worth your time even then.

No high expectations~ Simply watch & enjoy.

Yes, it may seem bad at first, but it really isn’t. This is a short vertical series for a reason—it’s meant to be mediocre, hilarious, and not taken too seriously. The storyline follows the usual formula of 2-minute Chinese shorts, but it’s surprisingly cute. The leads have great chemistry, and the side characters are genuinely funny too.

What I appreciated most is that it actually shows character growth—not just for the two leads, but also for the father and the rest of the cast. Overall, it’s an easy, fun watch that doesn’t make you overthink or second-guess anything.

Just one thing though, I do feel like Donut's voice when acting is somewhat loud. But that's about it.

What the hell?

There is no amount of Me and Thee, Sangmin Dinneaw and Jack and Joker lunacy could have prepared me for this. It's good that it was done with the most outlandish plot cuz nothing else would have worked. You want to but you can't look away cuz you have this need to know what else could they possibly do. Turns out, a lot. Pockets of entertainment.

Overall, there were humerous moments throughout with a heavy dose of melodrama. The father was a trip. Loved his performances. He had the uncanny ability to show up just at the right moment. I liked the craziness of it all. It was light, fast moving and ultimately entertaining tho a bit redundant. Too many unnecessary clashes.

Donut's voice is something I cannot get used to. Even with a lowered volume and 2x, it felt like a drill into my brain. Didn't like it in TBNW and here. I will say he has potential as an actor. Forth is effortlessly natural. They're good for each other.

Is this format a plus for them? Who knows. I'm reminded that TleFirstOne began with a 2 min vertical series and their popularity has grown enormously. So here's hoping they get to that level also, tho I consider this a step down from TBNW. Probably they haven't found their niche.

Brain activity needed - none. Watchable - yes.

Romcome + Mafia? Cállate y ten todo mi dinero.

No me suelen gustar las series formato Reel, no porque no tengan trama o lo que sea, es por el formato pero por el ForthDonut lo hice y que bendición 😌

Realmente la historia fue entretenida, linda, cálida y con drama necesario, la rivalidad entre Putt y James tenía incluso justificación, hasta se solucionó de manejar coherente, su relación creció y realmente a James le atraía Putt desde antes, pero por su personalidad era que siempre chocaban, pero se volvieron una masita y el lore detrás del primo de James, él padre mafioso jajaja

Me jijee tanto con las escenas y a la vez me preocupe en algunos momentos pero 10/10 así se arranca bien el año 😌😙

Olha, não é tão ruim quanto eu esperava..
Parece um KinnPorsche adolescente/faculdade, só que com atores de apoio de outros dramas que talvez não tiveram tantas oportunidades quanto os demais hahahah os beijos pareciam encaixar bem, apesar de nnao achar que a química explodia ou algo do gênero... Mas gostei que em momento algum os pais foram contra os filhos estarem juntos pelo fato de serem homens, isso já é um progresso kkkkk
Óbvio que poderia ser melhor e ter uma qualidade melhor, mas pensando por ser vertical, a produção até que foi grande em comparação com os demais que já foram lançado ao longo dos anos.
