A small izakaya somewhere in Niigata. The people who gather at the shop are all “liars,” each carrying something of their own. Mitsuko is summoned by her ex-husband, Kosuke, from whom she is divorced. Joining them are Nakamura, a self-proclaimed handsome marriage scammer, and Namiki, a detective who comes in with blood streaming from his head. For some reason, the three end up sharing a table together. In the midst of this, news of a nearby hit-and-run traffic accident appears on the television… Just who is the “liar”?
