Home Work Special (1993)

Morita Keisuke, who has become a producer at a film company, is throwing himself into his work after his own project gets approved. Although the script’s quality is somewhat lacking, Keisuke decides to head to Singapore, the setting of the film, for a location scout together with the screenwriter, Shizue. However, just before departure, Shizue suddenly cancels. As a result, Keisuke takes his wife, Sachiko, who he has always made feel lonely, in her place. Upon realizing that she is merely a substitute for Shizue, Sachiko becomes furious. Meanwhile, Takimoto Shuji is planning to open a shop in Sendai after becoming independent from Furukawa.
