One year has passed since the shocking news that Serizawa Tamaki, a best-selling mystery author, suddenly passed away after falling down a flight of stairs. Eto Megumi, who had finally been on the verge of becoming the editor in charge of his new work, hears from his wife Mariko that there is an unpublished manuscript left behind by Serizawa and visits their home. There, she discovers the “diary” he left behind.
