Never Walk Alone (2023)

Deng Chu, a once-famous football player for a club, faces repeated failures on the field in his middle age and is eventually dismissed by the club. Hoping to clear his mind, he sets out on a road trip with his family, but a car accident leaves him as the sole survivor. Believing he caused the deaths of his wife and child, he is consumed by guilt and moves to a remote mountain town, his late wife’s hometown, to care for his father-in-law as a form of atonement.
