I have no authority whatsoever to write this review.However, I have watched the first episode four times. Unfortunately (maybe), I have thoughts.For the uninitiated, PLS Love is an adaptation of a novel with the same title by the author Reverse, starring Lena Schuett and Miu Natsha.Lena plays Peem, and Miu plays Parn (Pheem and Pan if you’re a book purist). Peem is a businesswoman, and Parn is an escort. Peem is trying to close a deal, and to do that, she is going to need Parn’s help.I should probably say upfront that I went into this with the particular baggage of someone who has read the source material. PlsLove EP1 was such a good start. I love how the story introduces Pheem and Pan and gives us a glimpse of their personalities and the dynamic between them. There’s already so much to be curious about, especially with the way they interact. Lena and Miu did a great job bringing their characters to life, and I’m excited to see how their story develops. This first episode definitely made me want to keep watching.

Hella icky red flag 🚩 If this were a guy pulling that "I want you + judge your job = pressure you" nonsense? Villain status INSTANTLY 🗣️ GL doesn’t = romance over boundaries! BUT we novel readers know 💡: Heiress is fighting her own demons + ingrained shame vs her big feelings for girl of her dreams. Messy, complicated, painful — and oh so interesting to unpack 🫣❤️🩹 Chemistry? Immaculate ✨ Story? Already gripping ✨ My heart? Claimed ✨ Let the chaos BEGIN! 😘🔥

We weren’t exactly cheering after reading the Pls. Love novel, so Lena and Miu taking on its complicated leads had us nervous. Episode 1 changed that — fast. Smarter adaptation choices, stronger context, a more assertive Parn and a Peem who is every bit as complicated as expected gave this story new life. Add sharp production choices, a punchy soundtrack and some unexpected spice, and suddenly? We’re seated.
