Steamy romance cannot save bad writing
It is exhausting, it's not the worst thing I've ever seen, but it's a drama-heavy series that could've greatly benefited from better writing.I liked the first episode, nothing crazy but good acting and an interesting premise. After, though, everything went down.

Things I liked:
1. Good chemistry.
2. Acting.
3. Some funny moments.
Things I disliked:
1. Shaming an escort worker. I do not support the shaming of the escort workers. Whether they are sleeping with customers or not, it doesn't matter in my eyes. Both the Peem and the Parn's father had something disgusting to say about it. I can maybe see how some people see this job as a low-class job. However, I don't see why they think they have a right to say something about it. Especially Parn's father since he is greatly benefiting from Parn having this job.
2. Peem. Even though she changed for the better, I still find her abusive behavior towards Parn at the start absolutely repulsive.
3. Needed better writing.
4. Parn. She has a kind heart but one brain cell, unfortunately. One thing Peem asked her not to do is to not lie to her. But instead of sharing with Peem what happened and trying to come up with a plan or simply asking her for money, Parn goes back to working at the club without telling Peem.

Pride, prejudice and passion with a dangerous attraction
This series is incredibly good, and honestly, you can watch it over and over again without getting bored because the acting is top-notch and the story is quite compelling. However, trust is the fundamental element here; if we choose to trust, everything falls into place. Another thing it teaches us is that people aren't always what they seem on the surface—sometimes, their circumstances and helplessness push them to extremes. I read the book so I might be bias but the show botched everything compared to the book
okay I read the book before the show came out and I was all like okay Lena and Miu totally have the acting abilities to pull off these characters this is going to be so good their last series was really good, chemistry was great and I was all like they got this I was excited.Then the first episode dropped and I was all like what the hell am I watching where they pull this from make no sense and after watching the first episode and every episode after that I realized oh they give zero f**** about the book but for some reason I don't see that there's a screenwriter which means they got to be lying cuz there needs to be a screenwriter because somebody realized that there's a whole book that they could have gone based off of but was like nah f*** that s*** I'm going to just write my own f****** story and basically just change all the f****** characters personalities and the storyboard.
If you haven't read the book I feel like maybe the show might actually be really good for you maybe I wouldn't know cuz I can't separate the two even though I really tried and I'm still trying after watching every episode but I just can't do it cuz every time I watch a new episode makes me so mad that I just end up rereading the book.

✨ PLS LOVE Ep 1 Review — Spoiler-Free-ish ✨Okay let’s be real: I was so eggzoitted last night — watched the whole thing without English subtitles and I DID. NOT. CARE. 😭🔥 It was already so good I wanted to scream from the rooftops and hand out 1 MILLION STARS like confetti 🥰😍💯🇹🇭

Here’s the thing — and I’m saying this with all the love for GL content in my heart: just because it’s GL doesn’t mean we get a free pass on red flags. ✋
Pheem’s behaviour? That part was hella icky. 🚩 If the roles were reversed — if this was a guy who’d been all over Pan one night, then suddenly decided her job made her "less than," got aggressive, and basically pressured her into intimacy again? He’d be the villain of the story, end of discussion. 🗣️ Just saying. We don’t romanticize problematic behaviour no matter who’s doing what to whom. Standards exist for a reason!
BUT — for those who’ve read PLS LOVE The Novel — we know there’s a deeper, heartbreaking backstory at play here. Pheem isn’t just being difficult for drama’s sake: she’s caught in this brutal tug-of-war where she loves Pan fiercely… while also carrying around this awful, ingrained shame that makes her recoil from exactly what she craves. It’s messy. It’s complicated. It’s human. And it’s going to be a journey watching her unpack all that. 🫣❤️🩹
Final Verdict
The vibe? The chemistry? The storytelling? Chef’s kiss. 🤌 This show has my whole heart already — even if it’s also going to give me a few ulcers along the way 😂

✨ PLS LOVE EP 2: THOUGHTS ✨
Okay, I literally had to pause just to catch my breath. My brain is still processing everything that just happened — and this is only Episode 2? This easily felt like we were already at episode 6 or 7. No filler, just pure chaos and feelings.
⚠️ SPOILERS ⚠️
So here’s the thing: Miu’s character is a popular escort who’s never been with any client that way. Lena’s character? The first one. Ever. That’s huge — and my heart absolutely aches for how meaningful that is.
And yet… it stings to watch Peem be so condescending toward Parn. You’re the one who gets to be her first, and you still look down on her? It’s messy and unfair and frustrating.
Then there’s Parn’s dad: “This one’s a keeper, so our family can finally stop being poor.” Ouch. Now I’m overthinking everything. Is she falling for real? Or is she doing what she always does — putting her family first, even if it breaks her own heart in the process?
Complicated layers, raw emotions, and so many questions already. If Episode 2 hits this hard, I honestly don’t know how I’m going to survive the rest of this series. But I’m absolutely ready to find out. Let’s go. ❤️🔥
✨ PLS LOVE Ep 3: Heart Rate Still Elevated ✨
Heart rate just back to normal — this episode had it pounding double-time start to finish, and that Episode 4 tease? Nearly sent it into orbit. 😮💨
That push-pull between Peem and Parn? Delicious, charged, and utterly magnetic. Lena and Miu’s chemistry is easily top-tier Thai GL — and the writing and direction? Only getting sharper, richer, more addictive with every episode.
And clarity at last: Parn had no clue who Peem was at that Pattaya beach. No scheme, no target. What we learned in Ep 2 stands — Parn’s never been with anyone but her. That truth makes everything hit different — softer, weightier, more irreplaceable.
Yet Peem’s hang-up remains frustratingly real: she’s falling hard, but keeps framing this as a transaction — “I pay for you.” It’s cruel, it’s inconsistent, it’s her own guard going up. She can’t outrun her biases while running straight toward someone she claims to value. Growth hurts — and I’m here for every messy, beautiful bit of it.
If this show keeps this pace and quality? I’m fully along for the ride — heart palpitations and all. More please. Now. 🙏🇹🇭😊

There are disclaimers in the very beginning of the series. People are so sensitive about the truth in real life. These stories are to spread awareness that this happens to real people. I love how brave this series is to show that thai gl isn't just about rainbows. Morally gray characters exist. A Complete Trainwreck: How Pls Love Squandered Its Potential
If there was ever a series that started with a spark and completely imploded by the finish line, Pls Love takes the absolute crown. What began with initial promise unraveled into an exhausting, toxic slog across its run, culminating in a penultimate episode that proved it couldn't possibly get any worse....only to shatter those low expectations entirely.Let's be completely fair: the only redeeming qualities keeping this sinking ship afloat are Lena and Miu's raw chemistry and Lena's strong acting (especially her incredible emotional crying range)...i still think Miu's acting is not good...i somehow liked her in MSZ but here her acting has no personality at all. They, along with the rest of the talented cast, deserved a significantly better-written show.
Instead, across the episodes, the series suffers from glaring issues:
Inexcusable Toxicity and Zero Growth: Across the board, the character writing completely fails. Peem regresses rather than evolves, repeatedly resorting to toxic behavior, trying to buy her way out of consequences, and indirectly calling Parn derogatory names. Her supposed "redemption" never actually materializes into a genuine apology or accountability...boiling down instead to whining "Don't you love me anymore?"
Complete Loss of Self-Respect: Parn’s character development evaporates as she repeatedly accepts emotional volatility. With terrible communication and a lack of emotional foundation, the narrative stops feeling like a romance and starts feeling like Peem genuinely hates Parn.
Dogshit Direction and Editing: The romance and intimacy suffer from terrible execution. The NC scenes feel forced and awkward, chopped up with separate cuts every two seconds that make dramatic moments feel like a disjointed video clip rather than a genuine love story. Combined with subpar cinematography from the very beginning, Channel 3 completely botched this adaptation. CH3 be like: We know we botched the story but how can we repair it ? Lets give a love scene every episode so audience forget about the plot lool....and that damn music...did they buy the rights for it and showing of? wtf
Even the lead actress reportedly wasn't a fan of how the script and patch-up arcs were handled, and it shows. The talent was there, but terrible scriptwriting, poor direction, and tone-deaf editing turned what could have been a beloved adaptation into a frustrating disaster.
Pls love? Please, for the love of god, don't let them end up together.

CH3 has delivered a script even LenaMiu can save.
The writing is unbelievable, the dialog is simply bad. There are multiple scenes that just are notAnd then there is the physical assault and sexual assault.
This isn't the "gown up" script I thought they wanted. This is rape with high production values.
Dark themes are fine if you are going to give them time and make the characters do the work to fix it. I have no confidence they will do that in this series. I'm sure someone will be by to defend their rape fantasies as "dark romance."

This is light compared to western shows
The story is so realistic in so many aspects that makes me feel goosebumps. I feel like thai gl shouldn't be minimize to green flags because we are delighted to those since those are pretty RARE in real life and we feel disturbed by the scenes here because it happens in reality. Honestly...this was adapted from a novel called PLS LOVE by REVERSE... which I’ve already read for the nth time. 😭 Although I absolutely loved the novel...there were sm things in it that weren’t exactly perfect… BUT THE SERIES??? It’s like they polished every single mistake from the novel and made it disappear like it was never even there!!! 😭😭
And idk how, but from the 1st ep itself... this became my top sapphic series... Before this it was The Loyal Pin and Poisonous Love...but now PLS LOVE has taken that spot. 🛐
And I’m not even bragging when I say this, but tbh I was NEVER a fan of the main leads LenaMiu.... Yet somehow this series is taking me to HEAVEN. 😭 Like HOW????

Idk what your preferences are when it comes to watching a sapphic series, but THIS IS A MUST WATCH. No matter what genre or type of series you usually like...just WATCH THIS. It’ll literally take you to heaven. 🛐😭

But somehow that waiting gives it this weird masochistic vibe 😭-------------the more you endure the wait, the more pleasure you get when the next ep finally drops.

ça vaut le coup d'œil
Comme tous les Gl j'ai l'impression au bout de 5 épisodes l'histoire tourne en rond. Mais ça en vaut le coup d'œil ! et les actrices sont tellement belles olala vraiment du fan service à revendre, c'est très excitant comparé à d'autres drama 🤭Il ne faut pas se prendre la tête et ni regarder les détails. On trouvera forcément des incohérences mais je pense que ça fait partie du genre. Même si ma culture des dramas n'est pas très étendu et centré sur les GL 😂
Les personnages secondaires commencent à devenir drôle vers la fin ce qui donne un vrai plus pour continuer !
