Chaotic and messy but intelligently written thriller!!!!

Man I honestly didn’t expect this show to get under my skin the way it did. 6 students, one teacher, messy relationships. Full of emotional damage. I mean in just 6 episodes they perfectly build up so many characters . Every character has so many layers--they showed both their loving + vulnerable parts . What I love most is that the show refuses to hand you a “good person” and a “bad person.” Every episode shifts your perspective a little more. Someone you sympathized with suddenly disappoints you. Someone you hated starts making painful sense. I mean you feel for everyone , you get sad when they get sad , you get happy when they are happy.

The writing deserves a lot of praise because the pacing could’ve easily collapsed with this many characters, but it never feels like that. The backstories are revealed at the right moments. The acting is also really really strong . Not just the emotional breakdown scenes, but the quieter moments too--the awkward pauses, the resentment, the jealousy, the tension when characters are clearly hiding things from each other. It feels natural instead of overdramatic.

And can we talk about the atmosphere? The directing and soundtrack give the series this heavy, uneasy feeling almost all the time, like something is constantly about to explode. The ost is very very enjoyyyable. When will they release the MV...i need to see it right noww lol. Girl Rules was meant to be like this. Chaotic and messy. But dont worry Shades beat it to us. This is probably one of the most emotionally messy and intelligently written Thai GL dramas I’ve watched in a long time.

Can’t wait for Part 2. I already know this show is going to ruin me emotionally.

One of the most underrated GLs of the year deserves more attention

Three episodes in and I'm already attached to these two.....I was anticipating the trope like " Human falls for a robot" but it is much more charming and deep. Its a story about loneliness and companionship where you let a special someone in your life. What hooked me is not only the AI concept but also the chemistry which is off the charts. We all have met someone like Gen who are awkward ,quiet and a little lost. Then Ai comes and literally changes her life into a more meaningful one. The series also does a nice job balancing comedy with emotional moments. One minute you're laughing because of Ai's innocent behavior, and the next you're thinking about Gen's loneliness. The pacing has also been solid though we only have 7 episodes...saddddd. Then we have Irene who is watching every move of Ai. She might fall in love with Gen through Ai's eyes....thats poetic lol.

Of course, with only three episodes released, it's still too early to judge the overall story. The biggest challenge will be maintaining the quality and delivering a satisfying conclusion. However, based on what's been released so far, the series has exceeded my expectations like Love Beyond Dreams. Can we have a little cameo of Rann and P'Le pls.

If you're looking for a GL that's a little different from the usual college or office romances, I'd definitely tell u to give AI Girl a chance. It has heart, it's genuinely entertaining, and after only couple of episodes, I'm already invested in where this story is going.

Now comes the hardest part... waiting for next episodes.

Arguably the best 4 elements series

People had less hope from this series because all the main couples series ended already. Earth was good, Water was better , Air was subpar, now it was time for me to watch the Fire, it has a really firey and intense vibe and the story is really a great slowburn.

What I liked most is that it doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard. For the first couple of episodes Fai might annoy you but she quickly redeemed herself in the next episodes The characters are easy to get into, and there are enough little moments to keep things interesting. The acting also works really well for the kind of story they’re telling. I personally absolutely love Kaphrao. From the first episode i was already so hooked to know that Kaphrao will be Fai's one and only girl haha.

You might also know that they have been friends for 10 years. This make their story more interesting. Episode 5 was the turning point for me...i couldnt take my eyes off the screen from looking at them spending time together and Fai fighting so hard to keep her feelings in check. what i do not like is the grandma who creates unnecessary drama and has bounded Fai's hand to do absolutely nothing.

I absolutely adore them and hope that they get more projects in future.

Very underrated and light hearted show with rarely any miscommunication and extra fluffiness

I'll admit I was laughing my ass off and cringing after the first episode....that initial purse-snatching scene had me rolling my eyes and ready to turn my brain completely off. But sticking with it turned out to be the best decision, because Fairway of Love quietly evolved into one of the most refreshing and wholesome feel-good watches airing right now.

Yes, it has its goofy, slightly cringey moments and a golf setting that feels a bit unusual for high stakes drama.... but beneath the surface, there is genuine heart and unexpected depth. What really sets it apart from the crowd is how refreshing the character dynamics and conflict resolutions are. Instead of dragging out misunderstandings for cheap dramatic effect, the couples actually communicate,....talk through their issues and choose kindness and growth over petty toxicity. CH3 can learn a thing or two from this show about communication tropes.and can we talk about the love scenes ? very artistic and affectionate which is rare in GL. in PLS Love the love scenes feels forced ...there is no build up and they go from 0 to 100 like in 2 seconds...pretty boring. But fairway of love's love scenes are directed differently from every angle ...the angst between the couples ...the build up to making love and the staring are equally hot and cute at the same time. this again specially has forced me to look at nc scenes differently, previously it was Juliet and Juliet

The dual pairing format is another massive win. You get the soft, adorable, and sweet dynamic between Nana and Vee, perfectly contrasted by the hot, mature, and no-nonsense energy of Jin and Belle...whose chemistry and well-paced romance scenes definitely steal the show. also how weird is that the side couple is moving faster than the lead couple lol

It might not have the massive mainstream hype of every other GL on the block, and it definitely flies under the radar for a lot of people, but it’s lighthearted, sweet, surprisingly grounded, and an absolute joy to watch at the end of a long day. If you skipped it or put it on hold, it is well worth picking back up.

Good acting, but the show is just way too slow and repetitive

I really love the cast and the acting is good, but this show is getting hard to watch. The first episode was also very slow...only the last 10-15 minutes was meaningful, now every episode feels like the same exact storyline over and over again.

The main couple barely has any real conversations, always flirting...so it is hard to feel any real depth or chemistry between them. Instead, we keep getting stuck with the same old tired drama, like the overbearing parents interfering, without anything actually moving forward. On top of that, the whole show feels very depressing with almost zero lighter moments or fun to balance it out.

Honestly, the side character like Jay and their backstories feel way more interesting than the main romance at this point. When Namtan appeared i cheered so much. Unless you are just a massive fan of the lead actors, it is really tough to sit through. A huge disappointment given how much talent is in this show.

a classic case of wasted potential

I wanted to love The Air. The premise had everything going for it: a princess on the run, a capable police officer assigned to protect her, political conspiracies, action, romance, and plenty of opportunities for emotional moments. Unfortunately, the execution never quite lives up to the potential. The biggest issue is the script. The story quickly falls into a cycle where Lom and Blew escape, the villains somehow find them almost immediately, and then they run somewhere else. This pattern repeats so often that instead of feeling tense and exciting it ends up feeling predictable. The villains are also a no-show. Despite being the mainm force behind the plot, they receive very little development or screen time. They appear just enough to chase the leads before disappearing again. What's frustrating is that the show isn't short on runtime. Episodes are more than an hour, yet somehow very little meaningful development happens. Character backstories remain underexplored and entire episodes can pass without important progression. there are still enjoyable moments throughout. But it ultimately feels like a story that never fully realizes its potential.

Clairebell meets Shades. A masterclass in action, chemistry, tension and grittyness.

Honestly, Juliet & Juliet might be one of the best GLs to drop this year. I was already pumped up at first because its a forbidden love/rival families series and that it can get super clichéd, but they handled it so well without making the drama feel exhausting.
Blue and Tokyo killed it. For newcomers, their acting and chemistry are actually insane...like the subtle kitten and puppy sound details for them, made their scenes together so cute. What I loved most is that they aren't written as passive or indecisive. They’re both pretty badass, they actually communicate instead of letting dumb misunderstandings drag out. and as for the mafia storyline...who would not like it in a GL lol

The production quality is too rich. Every week ended on a total hook. If you haven't watched it yet, definitely give it a shot, it's so worth it.

Melodramatic Perfection — The Chemistry Is Next Level!

I went into Shadow of Love expecting a standard micro-drama, but I was completely blown away by how addictive and intensely passionate this series turned out to be. If you are a fan of passionate romance or unparalleled main-lead chemistry, this should be a good watch.

The premise itself is deliciously messy and gripping. Because it is a 24-episode micro-series, the pacing is incredibly fast.
What truly elevates Shadow of Love is the pairing of #PraifahBeBell. Their chemistry is pure magic. Praifah and BeBell completely understand the assignment when it comes to serving raw, emotional intimacy. Every look, hand placement, and shift in body language feels heavy with unspoken words, specially their eyes. Their romantic and intimate scenes feel entirely authentic and deeply connected. They completely carry the weight of this melodrama and elevate the script with their talent.

Also shoutout to the 2nd couple GunDonut. They did really well in this series though their screentime were less. I would like see them in a separate series obviously.

The wardrobe department also deserves a massive shoutout because both leads looked stunning throughout the entire run.

Overall I would like to say that enjoy this series as the actresses did a tremendous job. Would like to see them in a new series soooon.

Emotionally charged with a gripping mystery storyline

I am really loving Third Person, and honestly, it’s easily one of the most compelling and underrated Thai GL dramas to come out.On paper, it sounds like a typical amnesia trope type storyline, but i think it is turning into a high-stakes psychological mystery about memory loss, obsession, and trauma makes it so hard to look away.
What really sells the whole show for me is Garn and Mimie as Chris and Sun. Their chemistry is insane, but it’s the quiet micro-expressions that completely steal the show. Garn does such an amazing job showing the subtle differences in how Chris acts....like those genuine, dimpled smiles she only gives Sun, compared to how visibly stiff and uncomfortable she gets whenever Nadear touches her.
That whole conflict between her mind and body is done so well in my opinion. Even though her brain is clinging to this whole post-accident life that Nadia built around her, her body and heart instinctively know Sun is her safe space.
You are left constantly piecing together what actually went down four years ago before the accident shattered everything. and the story is also unfolding and giving us small clues little by little which keeps us at the edge of our sit.

i personally think in the craziness of ohter great GLs this time Third Person is being kinda overlooked ...This matured show should be watched by us all and the 7.9 rating really doesnt do justice for this show. They deserve more recognition.

Guys You are looking at the best GL in thai GL History

I honestly don't remember the last time I waited this eagerly for a series every single week. Ever since the teaser dropped , I knew I was going to watch it, but I never expected it to become something I'd spend the whole week thinking about. Every Sunday felt too far away, and now somehow we're already at episode 9 with only one left. I genuinely don't want it to end.

For me, this is easily the best series of 2026.

The biggest reason is Jan and Jingjing. I don't even know how to explain their chemistry properly because saying "they have great chemistry" doesn't feel like enough. Every look, every argument, every quiet moment between Lal and Wine just works. It feels effortless, like they're completely comfortable with each other, and that made me believe every part of their relationship. There were scenes where I completely forgot I was watching actors, but they were just being themselves. they really love their job ( which is just kissing flirting and fooling around duh!! 😂😂😂

I also have to give credit to the rest of the cast. Kapook and Ciize were so much fun to watch, and I'm really happy with where their story went. Poor Medsai really ended up being the backburner this time though 😭. Still, every character felt like they had a purpose instead of just existing around the main couple. Jan male friend i liked him very much for giving her the support at the right time. Then there is Korn the formiddable villain.

What surprised me the most is that the show never relied on just romance. It made me laugh, stressed me out, cried my eyes out and then five minutes later had me smiling like an idiot. I kept telling myself, "Next week can't possibly top this," and somehow it usually did.

Maybe the finale will change some of my thoughts, but after nine episodes I honestly can't find anything that took away from my enjoyment. The acting, the music, the emotional scenes, even the little moments between the characters... everything just clicked for me.

I'm definitely going to miss waiting for Sundays. This series has been part of my weekly routine for the past months, and letting it go isn't going to be easy. I really hope Jan and JingJing get another project together because I don't think I'm ready to move on from them yet.

A Complete Trainwreck: How Pls Love Squandered Its Potential

If there was ever a series that started with a spark and completely imploded by the finish line, Pls Love takes the absolute crown. What began with initial promise unraveled into an exhausting, toxic slog across its run, culminating in a penultimate episode that proved it couldn't possibly get any worse....only to shatter those low expectations entirely.

Let's be completely fair: the only redeeming qualities keeping this sinking ship afloat are Lena and Miu's raw chemistry and Lena's strong acting (especially her incredible emotional crying range)...i still think Miu's acting is not good...i somehow liked her in MSZ but here her acting has no personality at all. They, along with the rest of the talented cast, deserved a significantly better-written show.

Instead, across the episodes, the series suffers from glaring issues:

Inexcusable Toxicity and Zero Growth: Across the board, the character writing completely fails. Peem regresses rather than evolves, repeatedly resorting to toxic behavior, trying to buy her way out of consequences, and indirectly calling Parn derogatory names. Her supposed "redemption" never actually materializes into a genuine apology or accountability...boiling down instead to whining "Don't you love me anymore?"

Complete Loss of Self-Respect: Parn’s character development evaporates as she repeatedly accepts emotional volatility. With terrible communication and a lack of emotional foundation, the narrative stops feeling like a romance and starts feeling like Peem genuinely hates Parn.

Dogshit Direction and Editing: The romance and intimacy suffer from terrible execution. The NC scenes feel forced and awkward, chopped up with separate cuts every two seconds that make dramatic moments feel like a disjointed video clip rather than a genuine love story. Combined with subpar cinematography from the very beginning, Channel 3 completely botched this adaptation. CH3 be like: We know we botched the story but how can we repair it ? Lets give a love scene every episode so audience forget about the plot lool....and that damn music...did they buy the rights for it and showing of? wtf

Even the lead actress reportedly wasn't a fan of how the script and patch-up arcs were handled, and it shows. The talent was there, but terrible scriptwriting, poor direction, and tone-deaf editing turned what could have been a beloved adaptation into a frustrating disaster.

Pls love? Please, for the love of god, don't let them end up together.

A supernatural Masterpiece of Thai GL which is Bold, Atmospheric, and Unapologetically Unique

*Khom Khlang* is easily one of the coolest and most refreshing Thai GLs to come out this year. It takes a total left turn away from the usual rom-com tropes and jumps straight into mystery, supernatural, and dark Thai sorcery, which had me hooked from episode one.
The chemistry between Pheem and Bulan is just insane. Bint plays Master Bulan with this effortless, magnetic confidence, and the back-and-forth between her and Pheem who is a literal police officer trying to stay rational is so good. The slow-burn tension, the karmic soulmate dynamic, and just the way they look at each other had me stressed every single week in the best way possible.

Beyond that, the vibe of the whole show is incredible. The production value, lighting, and cinematography really sell that eerie, supernatural atmosphere without looking cheap. Plus, having lead actresses who bring real Southeast Asian representation to a story born from authentic queer storytelling makes it mean that much more to watch. Even with all the dark occult stuff they still managed to mix in just enough humor. Filler episodes are also important because we get to focus on the main leads apart from the orginal plot. We need that because the leads chemistry is off the charts ..
