The setting of this work is a pottery workshop deep in the mountains, far from any village. Assassins had been using the workshop to incinerate bodies. Mizuki, whose life is being targeted by an assassin organization, manages to reach the workshop while evading her pursuers. Then, the sorcerer Toda appears and warns that the grudges of the dead swirling inside the kiln are turning into the curse “Kodoku” and are on the verge of erupting.
