Ishidaira Kiichi, a delinquent high school student, happens to visit a certain library for the first time in ten years. There, a group of unique staff members works hard every day for the sake of the library’s visitors. After starting a part-time job at the library, Ishidaira begins to learn about the various rules and responsibilities that exist to ensure everyone can encounter books and experience the joy of knowledge.
