The best dual transmigrating story, no argument needed
I watched many dual transmigrating story and for me this one tops everything. I've been traumatized by a bunch of low-quality ensemble dramas, and this one has been a real healing experience. The four people chemistry were most natural from every aspect and you could mix match the CP even the same gender one. Their harmony were too perfect and I need to appreciate Chen Tian Xian, Liu Nian, Zhang Chi and Zhi Chun He for this drama. The interactions between the two couples are equally sweet, Essentially, it includes all the elements viewers want to see. I can relate with Nian and Chun He on their first scene. So fujoshis coded. I am on Chun He's mind want to make the Male Leads kissing each other. Zhang Chi's costume remind me of Seungho from Painter on The Night.Within its limited runtime, it almost achieved perfection. It has a main plot, a coherent storyline, a complete narrative structure, laughter and tears, plot twists and redemption, rich content, and a tight, smooth pace. The screenwriter has achieved what is most difficult for an ensemble drama –complete dish! Moreover, the supporting characters aren't just plot devices; the villains' scenes are also entertaining, and the emperor is a source of amusement. While the ending leaves a cliffhanger, the story is already very complete (I am waiting for season 2 too). The costumes, makeup, and props are excellent, the visual quality is good, the filters are natural. The only drawback might be the lack of original voice acting; dubbing really detracts from the overall quality and the system voice was quite to squeaky for my personal taste. Overall, it's quite enjoyable.
Recommended if you like dual couple story with light tone drama.

It's a Crazy One..
The screenwriter must have been drunk when he wrote the script. The story is a mix of the common plots of a chinese drama. It's funny, risiculous and romantic all over.Story's a mess but with the 3 handsome Male Leads and 2 Female leads, It's a really a worthwhile to waste your time here.
I can't wait for season 2 to come out.

Wacky, wonky, and weirdly watchable.
It’s one of those dramas that barges in with chaotic confidence and somehow makes the mess feel intentional. The opening is a full‑on tangle—confusing enough that I wondered if the editor briefly gave up—but once it untwists, the campy absurdity kicks in with real swagger. The tropes aren’t just present, they’re paraded around like part of the marketing plan, and honestly, the show is better for it. What really keeps everything afloat is Liu Nian, who’s genuinely built for comedy; her timing and straight‑faced delivery make even the nonsense land. I’ve seen her in other works, so her skill wasn’t a surprise, but the other three leads hold their own too—easy on the eyes, easy to watch, and definitely helping the whole thing go down smoother. By the end, it’s still wacky and a little confused, but funny enough that you let it slide. Decent, chaotic, and unexpectedly entertaining, carried by a cast that knows exactly how to play into the madness.Was this review helpful to you?
