Suffering from the shock of losing her young daughter in an accident, Yuriko loses her ability to speak. To get away from her past, Yuriko moves to a different city and starts to work at a small family-owned bento shop. In contrast to the warm bento, the family that runs the shop is cold. The husband and owner of the bento shop, who is alienated by his wife and daughter, makes advances toward Yuriko and forces her to have relations with him.
