The story follows Tajima and his childhood friend Kuramochi, who has always been there to help him in times of trouble. Charismatic and seemingly perfect, Kuramochi is admired by those around him. However, Tajima begins to notice that Kuramochi is often present during the moments when his life starts to unravel. As this pattern continues, Tajima grows increasingly suspicious of his friend’s true intentions. Despite attempts to distance himself, Kuramochi repeatedly reappears in Tajima’s life, maintaining their bond as “best friends.” As doubt deepens, Tajima is confronted with darker thoughts, including the possibility of betrayal and violence.
