just a cute little story...
While Korea is flooding us with short mini-series, that's one of the few shorts from Japan. While nothing earthstattering, it was done quite well. Both actors seem a bit rough around the edges but they really tried hard. As it's often the case with JBLs, there is not a real kiss in it, which is a shame.The subtitles are also nothing to write home, were the timing was off or some sentences are not translated completely, but everyone should get the gist of what is said. The only fault is that phone-screens were not translated at all.

This is just shallow and rushed. No substance, no beautiful pictures, no feelings, no nothing..............The outer layer looks kinda cute I guess??? But it's completly empty.Why did I watch this?
I have the weird uncomfortable feeling brain cells got sucked out of my brain.

Very Cute!
Japan excels at making the most adorable BLs. The acting was actually good for something so short and for the limited experience of the main actors. Story is a bit basic, but cute. The music is pretty standard for this type of show, nothing new or exciting, but it all fits well. And as always, the kisses are pretty bland, but at least they both appeared to pucker up at the same time. That's rare in Japanese BL. Overall, very sweet and maybe worth a rewatch down the road for just some cute.Was this review helpful to you?
38 minutes of typically Japanese cuteness and awkwardness.
PLOT: His editor asks the MC, a very introverted writer with no romance experience, to write a BL. At the same time, the MC welcomes his new step-brother (his mother has just remarried) into his home. The step-brother will help him experience romantic emotions, a training that will blossom into romance.+++ Two talented young actors.

PLOT: Son éditeur demande au ML, écrivain très introverti sans aucune expérience de romance, d'écrire une BL. Au mm moment, le ML accueille chez lui, son nouveau beau-frère (sa mère vient de se remarier). Celui-ci va l'aider à ressentir des émotions romantiques, training qui va tourner en romance.

nicely done short series

- how they were opposites in some ways (like messy vs. tidy)
- sweet moments
- a quirky character still felt in the realm of reality

- the series was so short, I really wanted a bit more relationship development between them
