Koto shows Kiki boxes full of Somen, which they received as a gift for Obon but forgot to eat, and gets worried since it'll expire in two days. Koto suggests turning the noodles into energy bars, but Kiki prefers to eat them normally. Koto suggests making different broths for diverse flavors, but Kiki tells her it won't solve their problem. Kotobuki then thinks of an idea, and 30 minutes later finishes making Somen in red bean soup for herself and Koto. Kiki finds it tasty, and the two finish all the Somen in three hours. Koto gets proud of herself for making a food that no one has ever made before on MultiEarth ?5109.
