Unchained (2026)

Nishi Kengo (42), a former gang member and ex-convict, runs "Mirai no Sato", a residential rehabilitation facility for troubled youth. From juvenile delinquents and social recluses to children from broken homes, Nishi fights every day to help them find a way to start over. Meanwhile, junior high school teacher Kusano Toko (29) is at her wits' end. Struggling with the question of how to face children with whom "dialogue simply doesn't work," her classroom is on the brink of collapse. At the center of the chaos is Sawa Kaito (15), an exceptionally uncontrollable student. Lacking any empathy for the pain or feelings of others, Kaito is a habitual bully and offender.
