Editorials Nour Episode 9 Reactions
What moved me most in this episode was James telling Ken that he smiles when they are together—when he feeds James, dances with him, and kisses him. James sees the joy Ken still finds in living, which makes his question all the more painful: why does Ken still want to die?James’s love is so direct, almost like a stubborn child refusing to accept an answer. Yet I can understand Ken’s hesitation, too. After discovering the happiness of loving and being loved, the thought of losing it must be even more terrifying.Chita and Ji’s story makes that fear feel darker. Chita once asked his own lover not to turn him into a NOUR, yet he has now turned Ji into one. Wanting to save someone you love and respecting the life they want are painfully different things.Ken, James, Chita, and Ji seem caught in a dance between life and death. With only one episode left, I’m afraid that happiness may remain out of reach. Still, I want James’s stubborn, straightforward love to overcome their fate.

Chita's story is sad, actually. I believe his leg stayed crippled because he got the injury while still a human, and him becoming a Nour couldn't heal him completely and remove those scars. 😔 In my opinion, he isn't evil and deserves a redemption arc for what he has done... AND as far as we know, he kind of went only after Nours. SO, was James' father also a Nour? 🤔Another thing that got my attention here was the way Ken spoke to Chita about "us"... Could that hint that Ken is also a Nour who can kill other Nours, except for himself? Maybe Chita also can't kill himself? Or Nours can't kill themselves in general? This raised so many questions for me... 🤯 But I might have misunderstood something too. If so, I hope the last episode will give me answers to those questions. 😳And can humans even kill Nours if they need special Nours to kill them? So is there really any point for James to keep chasing after Ji and Chita? 🤷♀️

i might be the odd one out but i found this ep to be a bit of a mess & a let down. especially when we were focused on the mains. 1st off Ken shot James cause he didn't want to lose the Chita - yet at the end James says cause Ken now had him, he had reconsidered?!? really??? like i agree that dying is scary & now there was a sure way that would work it was very scary & it's human (ironic i know - but Ken was a human once so i doubt his transformation change his thought process) anyway... it's very human to think of everything u gonna leave behind when faced with death - who was Chita in this instance. so i get it & yet i felt kinda weak. but the whole scene where Ken was weeping walking towards Chita & thinking about James was whack & then James running into that scene trying to stop Ken was just extra cringe - hard scene to sit thought & not stop or fast-forward. thinkin what i found ironically worse was Chita backstory & justification to why he held a grudge against Nour's - even if he hated the Nour that attacked him forcing the hand of his Nour bf to turn him, his soul mate scarified his life for Chita - that doesn't count? still all the Nour's r the same??? & his story is supposed to make Jirat happy? sympathize with him? really??? if anything that would make me worry what kind of nutter i've ended up with. ******************************************************
ironic (yeah a lot of ironies in this ep) that Jirat is the one i felt sad & bad for by the end of this ep - *******************************
after this ep i am kinda dreading what kind of whacked ending we gonna get. i don't think it's gonna be a sad ending & as there still so many questions that have been left unanswered i don't even know what kind of ending i would like. bummer i really enjoyed this & thought it was well written, but that was cause i thought that as this progressed a lot of the question would be explained & by the end we would get a clearer picture about a lot of the character's - well the mains. now i don't think that will be the case & i kinda feel deflated after this ep... oh well in 4 more days we will see what's what **********************************
side note: thinking about things - think now that Prae was seeking revenge - cause Chita murdered her soul-mate, she was stalking him & saw that Jirat was the person he cared for & knew she wouldn't be able to hurt him, as he was more powerful then her, so she hurt the person he loved. as before the murder of Thee she wasn't bad, as she wasn't hurting humans but stealing blood from the blood bank. guess that's why she did what she did even if it was reckless.

OKAY, LET ME KEEP GOING. WE BETTER END THIS SHIT WELL ON WEDNESDAY. I AM NOT FUCKING AROUND ANYMORE. SHE WITH NUPESS NOW. He fully had his trigger on the gun and shot that shit. I think chita is gonna turn himself in. Hey babe so we actually cant eat anymore. Where did chita get this cunty asa shirt? We have had 200 goddamn years to think about it, and now we are changing our mind. Holy moly. Chita looks especially scary with the blue contacts. Wait this is tragic. He never got to propose. He kills nours because he was killed by one. He can burn people because he was burned alive. So you can have more than one true love? Oh someone can see you as their true love but you dont see them as yours? Or maybe I am ready too deep into it? Who knows, but fuck i love this show and im praying the ending is good, but i cant wait for wenesday, I will watch this before class lmao. Also what happened to chitas man from 40 years ago? So he has to still be in love and unless Chita killed him? Im lost. So because a nour killed him, now he kills nours and has been doing this to get revenge. Very interesting. Also his leg was from a house fire started by a nour, and then he got all his clothes burnt off and i dont know what he said for that part, but holy shit i am so sad his show is coming to an end. also wait, so james was saying all that to ken just to kill chita? Lots to unpack really. 9/10 okay bye!

The moment I heard that gunshot, I knew it was Ken who stopped James from finishing off Chita... and even though he tells him he did it to protect him, we all know he did it because he's the only one who can kill him. Part of this episode focuses on James and Ken trying to get what they want—Ken wants his death, and James wants Ken to stay with him... in the end, Ken can't leave James and James convinces him of the same, but we don't know how this is going to end. On the other hand, Chita's past is revealed and why he kills the Nours; and even though Dr. Ji finally decides to leave with Chita, we don't know how they'll end up either... so expectations for the final episode are super high!!!
