To escape from his father’s violence, Takizawa Sota moves into a university dormitory. On his very first day in the dorm, the things that appear before him are a chicken, a kitchen knife, and Shuichi Koyanagi, a food enthusiast. Having never known the warmth of a shared meal, Sota cannot even name his favorite food when Koyanagi asks him.
