Ryuji (2026)

Shinjuku’s Kabukicho district, between 1984 and 1990. Ryuji, a yakuza known for his physical strength and deep capacity for compassion, is a man held in high regard by his underlings. After meeting his beloved Mariko, having a son, and gaining a family to protect, he decides to leave the underworld behind. Now living a legitimate life, Ryuji works diligently as a deliveryman for a liquor store. Though far from easy, this is the modest, peaceful existence he had chosen for himself. But then, his former sworn brother Kazu—now consumed by drug addiction—along with Nao and Hiroshi, his former underlings who represent a "second family" to him, reappear in his life.
